The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

My wife and I played her last year. This was our third round down in Destin and by far the scores was in the best shape. We got behind a couple slow groups, but was able to get by them and make up the whole we missed. We will definitely be back.

Potential to be a fantastic course!

With the amazing views along the bay and terrific water features, with better maintenance, this course could be fist class. The tee boxes are in very poor condition, and have beenfor far to long. The limited driving range is in very poor condition. No grass to hit from. However the putting greens were in very good shape. Food and beverage options very limited. Bathrooms need updating in the clubhouse.

Layout decent. Greens ok, a bit pockmarked despite being modern Bermuda. 5 hour round , no marshall, No beverage cart and halfway hut closed at turn.. Group of 3 in front of our 4 turned into 2 when on 2nd hole one of them joined the group ahead to make five and then backed up the whole course and never let the twosome through. Tee times on 8 mins were not reasonable there anyway with that much water to negotiate.

Awesome venue for golf

The course was in fantastic shape, especially the greens. The greens were a little slow, but rolled true. Everything about the golf experience was off the charts!! The oven views and course layout was amazing. The only non-positive comment would have to be the driving range. To sum it up in one word horrible. Mostly dirt with little or no grass.

I can’t wait to play there again. Highly recommended.

The Links @ Sandestin Resort

I drove an hour and twenty minutes to play this course, and it was well worth the drive. The driving range, and most of the tee boxes, are in poor shape, specifically the driving range which is mostly dirt and very little grass. The course, specifically the greens, is in great shape, as well as the bunkers. The beverage cart came by about every 3-4 holes. Pace of play was perfect with our round finishing in about 4 hours. I will definitely play here again!!!
