The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

It was a cold windy day with north winds that made controlling the ball very difficult. It was sunny which help cut down the wind chill. Fun challenging course.

Beautiful course but I chose the wrong day.

I love the layout and beautiful views on this course. My mistake to make a tee time for a measurable weather day. It was extremely windy and cold. I’ll be bake on a much better day in the near future.

Love the holes where the bay is right along the right side of the hole. Unfortunately I did not get to play these holes cause the rain would let up.

Pace of play was terrible. We were a threesome behind a group of five. Met them at the turn and requested to go ahead but they refused. Our round was nearly five hours.

The Links - a nice layout but in need of a refresh.

The Links at Sandestin offers nice bay views but the course is not much nicer than your typical public course. The amount you spend on your green fees would make you believe you were going to encounter a top notch resort course. Sadly, this is not the case.

I would recommend you try Kelly Plantation or The Raven, as they are in far better shape and the staff at each are excellent.
