The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Challenging course with a lot of amazing water views

The views of the bay are incredible as play your round. The are quite a few holes that have water so bring lots of balls. The fairways are more lush than a lot of courses and the greens are not extremely fast but in good condition.

Really Nice Course

The Links is one of several Sandestin Resort courses and like the others it is in great shape. This one has lots of water and sand along the way and the lots of holes along the Bay. Highly recommend it to players of all abilities. Only downside is no restaurant, but there was a beverage cart. Also, the driving range is short and does not allow the use of your woods which meant it took me a few holes to dial in those clubs costing me some strokes, but luckily my mates allowed me a few mulligans.

We were one of the first groups off in the morning and played in three (3) hours

Since we were first group off, we raced around the course. Course showed a little wear, but it is late October. Course has lots of sand and enough water to keep you thinking
