Course was is excellent condition. Made to feel welcime by club pro club captain and all staff. For a flatish course it has great shape and interesting layouts on every hole. We will be back

Tried to book for myself and my brother as our society weekend had been cancelled so we thought we'd treat ourselves to a decent course. Even though there was plenty of slots available, wouldn't allow to book online. Called the club direct and was told they don't accept visitors of a weekend. Something tells me they heard my Liverpool accent and the snobbery kicked in!!

I was booked on for the 12th April 2022 10.15am but due to wife being rushed to hospital I was unable to play the course. I keep hearing great reviews about the club and course

Nice course condition.

Practice green and nets. However, slow play and the layout of the course means there are lots of impediments to slow play eg greens and tee boxes needing to be cleared before you can safely tee off.

I was surprised how good this course was in the middle of winter. Well maintained in beautiful surroundings. Well worth considering, can’t wait to play it in the summer

We visited for the first time, and it was on great condition for January. Only played about four or five temp greens. I imagine it is even better during the milder months.

However on arrival we were disappointed to be turned away from the food/drink area as the lady told us "it's closed for cleaning".

We had driven for an hour and just wanted some refreshments and a bite to eat. Why can't the cleaning be done earlier than 11:15 a.m??

We were also told they only accept visitors Monday-Friday which is a shame as we would have returned again. I can understand if it was 'members-only' for comps on a Saturday morning or something, but surely this must cost them money overall.

Another thing was the signs directing you to next tees, they could be improved on some holes as they aren't so obvious.

Anyhow it is a lovely course in a nice location, and very reasonable.

Best value for money round I’ve ever played. The course layout on the front nine in particular was very fun. Very narrow meant driver stayed in the bag, which made it a lot more technical. Sadly a few winter greens, but for the price we didn’t complain. Given it’s on a flood plain, it wasn’t as wet as we’d expect.

I’ll be returning in the summer to play it in its full glory!

course is very very good and the condition was fantastic all credit must go to the green staff for doing such a wonderfull job. i cannot rate this course highly enough and for those of you reading this get yourself down there and you will see what i mean. will be back

Played the day after the heavy storms hit, course was dry until another heavy and I mean heavy downpour for at least 10 mins, greens flooded, 5-10 mins later, wow!! It was playable again, drained very well, deffo recommend paying this course a visit, I'll be back again for sure.

amazing course greens were so fast very hard to putt on and get it close to pin a lot of four ball groups on day that we played so a bit slow but would play course again well worth a visit

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Some tight strategic holes and some unfortunate holes where have to wait due to playing across/very close to nearby holes. The condition of the course however was absolutely fantastic! Credit to the green staff as can’t remember a more lush (tees/fairways/greens) and well presented course over the last 10 years of golf. Slow round as large society also playing. Definitely worth a visit (handicap 8).

First time I've played this course amazing condition greens were fast and hard to read great layout staff were friendly recommend to all golfers value for money

Loved playing this course and the greens were in fantastic condition. Little more signage to tees would have been better but absolutely loved playing here. Will be playing again.
