Padeswood and Buckley Golf Club

The course was in excellent condition well maintained particularly the greens which were fantastic. Played a 2ball behind a golf society so was a little slow but still enjoyed the round. Will definitely play again.

Second time of playing and again can’t fault the place all staff very friendly so again this was a great round and would recommend this course to everyone

Myself and 3 friends played the course while on a break in nearby Chirk. We all enjoyed everything about the course and the club, from the warm welcome in the Pro shop and clubhouse to the excellent condition and layout of this little gem of a course. The fairways were some of the best I have played on and the greens were superb and true. The whole course is full of character, with many memorable holes, and was a very good test of our skills.

The staff and members are friendly, course was in great condition love the layout and the challenge.

This course and all the staff where five star greens where excellent also fairways where excellent would recommend this course to anyone five star john mac

Really great condition considering two days of raining, can’t wait to go back in the summer!

A cracking course, played in less than ideal conditions, having said that we really enjoyed our round.

Very easy to lose wayward balls, some really good holes, finishing with a tough par 3 up hill.

Damp under foot but not plugging thankfully, pick and place was in use and the rough juicy as, not worth being wide in.

Pro shop has all you'll need, would love to play it when there's sun out and run on the fairway, greens very good given the conditions....

Wish everyone would replace their divots and fix their pitch marks, would make golf a little more positive...

Well done all in the club, especially the green keepers in the ongoing poor weather conditions.

First time playing corse and will certainly be returning..It was a glorious day with sun shine, but had been very rainy in previous days with many courses closed Considering the time of year it was in fantastic condition jncluding the greens . Brilliant

Extremely welcome , a lovely lady welcomed us and caught us as we finished, fantastic service and hospitality.

The greens were superb and better than most in north Wales in the summer .

I wish it was closer to my home as I would definitely join. Give it a go , you won’t be disappointed.

The course and club was excellent, we really enjoyed it. Pace of play was slow but there were reasons for that and I’m sure it is not the norm.

Would definitely recommend it.

We played on a Friday afternoon after a prolonged spell of warm weather. All of us are club members and wanted a different test and this was a great course. well designed, tree lined. The greens were very fast compared to our own courses and there was limited hold on the greens but that was to be expected with the lack of rain.

Not the longest but very tricky and a good test especially on the par 3s. We will be back.

Course was a bit boggy in parts but that’s to be expected for the time of year, but apart from 2 temp greens the course was in good condition for this time of year better than a lot I’ve played over the winter

Interesting course, Greenstaff had been unable to cut the fairways because of the inclement weather and 4 temporary greens
