Baytowne at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

It’s always just ok. Staff is ok, greens were trash but they warned us ahead of time so that’s fine. The course is just always ok but I wouldn’t pay the full amount they ask for. Too many other options.

We knew they were losing the greens but never thought it was that bad … at least they could keep them cut equally, but there are tufts of longer grass making the ball go anywhere. Also the sand traps are just awful, like the gave up on maintaining them also. At least fairways were good. Pace of play was awful… a foursome 2 groups ahead of us was soooo slow… had to wait on practically every shot! We are here for 5 weeks… definitely not going back…. Which is too bad as it used to be one of my favorite in the area! They lowered their price but still way too expensive for course condition

The fairways were great and rough was good but the greens were the worse i have ever played !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The greens were burnt up very little green grass on them. I should have been refunded my round . No one afford a replay round on the other course next to it was Raven or anything about sorry or nothing. I did learn on thing even high-in courses don't care about customer's that play there just as long as they get greens fees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the staff seemed proud that the green fee was low.

Greens were being worked on. Biggest issue was the mediocre amenities.

The greens on this course are the worst I have ever played on. We were warned by the staff that they were in bad shape, which was an understatement. They said there was no plan by the ownership to put any money into the course to fix the greens. Golf Now needs to remove this course from their website until they are fixed.

We have platted here many times. The greens were unplayable! $100 to play those greens is a joke!

We booked this course through GolfNow and the pictures were incredible. Staff in the clubhouse was extremely friendly, but they never told us the conditions of the greens. From the tee box on number one we were well pleased with how well the fairways were manicured. When we got to the first green, we absolutely couldn’t believe it. Since we weren’t told of this, we thought it was a one or two hole thing. Every green was entirely unplayable. There is no way this course should charge more than $30 to play since every green is un-puttable. Very nice fairways but putting is kind of part of the game.

So let’s just start off with, don’t be fooled by the 30% discount, this course is not playable, greens are absolutely terrible, they tell you the greens are not the best but still playable but not until you talk to the starter! this course should be closed until they can’t get their greens playable. I would not recommend playing even if it was free. Greens are where you score, you can’t do it at this course. Save your money and look elsewhere, biggest waste of $90 I’ve ever seen

The greens were under repair and were almost unplayable. Other than that it was a nice course. Would be better if there was a decent “19th hole”.

Do not pay more than $60 to play or you’ll be disappointed. The greens were lumpy and half dead. Horrible shape! The tee boxes have overgrown weeds all over them. The fairways are okay and do get better on the back 9. Course layout is great, it’s a shame they have let it get this bad.

Worst greens and Tee box conditions I’ve ever seen on a high dollar course. Weeds, wrong height adjustment on the mower, dead spots, brown spots from fertilizer spills. You name it.

This course was in the worst condition of any course I’ve ever played. Greens were un-puttable. I will never return.
