About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

I know it’s January, but the greens???
Emerald Bay has always been one of our favorite snowbird courses. The layout is fun and some of the holes are really beautiful. Practice facility is really good and staff is friendly. We’ve noticed over the last 2 years, however, that the prices have gone up and the conditions of the greens has gone down - worse than can be explained as “winter conditions”. We’ll play Emerald Bay again, but only on a hot deal.

It was OK but not great
I enjoyed the day with my grandson and a 2 guys that joined us. However, the course was just ok.

I really enjoyed this round.
This was a fun course to play. Lots of water. A few big doglegs that I will definitely play different next time. Very well stocked pro shop. Everyone was friendly. Didn’t like the $29 fee for my fiancé to ride with me.

Course was in great shape especially for
This time of the year. The only thing i would change is the hefty price for green fees. During the winter months they should lower the fees a little to get more golfers to play here. It was not very busy when I played and I think the price had a lot to do with it, because a course as nice as this should be busy.

Good course conditions; excellent practice areas. As a local, it would be nice to have a bit of a discount or a play card where you could play 9 rounds,get a tenth free or some benny for our loyalty.
