About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Returning Visitor
Greens too slow and soft for the money, fairways, bunkers good. Maybe this is standard now for Destin? On to find a better putting surface.

Excellent Course
Course was in great condition. Greens were soft and rolled true. It's a challenging course with plenty of water and along fairways and bunkers were strategically placed to add difficulty. Both around the greens and in the fairways.

Emerald Bay - First Timer
Have played some of the other courses in the area thru the years and this one was up there with the top ones in the area. Good Florida layout, with enough water to keep you thinking. For November play, it was fine. Few areas on tee boxes and in Fairways were needing winter relief, but for most point, was very playable.

Great for everyone
I had not played this course in a few years but it never disappoints! Fairways and greens are in great condition and the course caretakers take great care to keep it that way. Will definitely play again. The long par 5 is worthy of the PGA!

Great golf course!
Played the day before at another course, my first time playing in Florida, and there was so much sand all over the course, it was like playing half of the round out of a bunker. Made it a tough day. I didn’t want that to be my Florida golfing experience. Played Emerald Bay the next day, and the course was amazing. Greens, fairways, layout, just everything, and it had some amazing views, especially of the bay. Loved this golf course. I don’t think it could have been any better.
