About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Great day
Course was in good shape. We had a great time. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Thank you to the beer cart girl. It was extremely hot and humid. She was right on with cold beverages. Was impressed with the well stocked pro shop. Looking forward to playing again next vacation in Destin.

Emerald Bay
Course was in bad shape. Way overpriced. Shouldn’t have to hit off mats for $94.
Shop staff was very unfriendly and almost rude
On course beverage cart came by only twice in 4 hours. Last call on beverage cart was 4pm. And cart had no water. It was 100+ and no water on the cart.
Beverage cart driver was rude and put out.
Would never recommend this course.

Course Conditions
Greens were punched , so greens were slow ( understandable) but didn’t know that when II made reservations. Some greens had bad spots . We also played cart path only

Great Course
Only course I’ve played in Florida. A little pricey but it was well maintained and the staff was great.

Travel golf
Course was in very good condition except for tee boxes which need a good bit of TLC. Greens we’re soft and played slow. Overall a very nice course

Emerald bay
I had a 8:03 tee time as a single. I knew I would get paired up with another group and when it was my time to tee off they had a scheduling issue and I got pushed back to 8:30 so not a great start but not a huge deal either. I noticed the practice greens were aerated and once I got to the first green I realized the the entire course was the same way. For me playing golf in Florida for the first this really took the excitement out of it. Putting on these greens was not enjoyable. I know this is part of course management but just frustrating for me. Besides those two things everything else was in good shape. Just wish for the price and time spent I would have played elsewhere if I knew the greens were in that shape

It’s actually a 2.5. Fairways spotty in places and grass not mowed low leaving more like what the 2nd cut on most courses would be.
Greens were slow however they were arrested 15 days ago. Need rolled and cut then they could be fine.
Several tee boxes were just sand. I would give tee boxes 1.5.
