About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Great for everyone
I had not played this course in a few years but it never disappoints! Fairways and greens are in great condition and the course caretakers take great care to keep it that way. Will definitely play again. The long par 5 is worthy of the PGA!

Great golf course!
Played the day before at another course, my first time playing in Florida, and there was so much sand all over the course, it was like playing half of the round out of a bunker. Made it a tough day. I didn’t want that to be my Florida golfing experience. Played Emerald Bay the next day, and the course was amazing. Greens, fairways, layout, just everything, and it had some amazing views, especially of the bay. Loved this golf course. I don’t think it could have been any better.

Staff and course were great. Didn’t enjoy following a group of 4 that only had 3 sets of clubs and giving lessons to the person that didn’t have clubs. They were following a group of 5. We played the front 9 in a quick time but the back was full of delays. Not sure why this is allowed when u have people loading the golf carts. I would play here again but not if I knew I had to follow five people. This seems unacceptable for a 7:49 tee time which seemed to be a very busy time of day.

Good Time
Setup teetime for 8:03 on GolfNow. Decent value. Was paired with another person but when I arrived the sent him off earlier with another single. Played the round by myself but had a good time anyway. I caught up to a threesome at the turn. Watched them tee off every hole. Normally I would ask to play through but I wasn’t in a hurry. Thought it odd though never once ask if I wanted to play through. Either way still finished in 3.5 hours so not complaining. Course is tight but fair. Green are good shape.

Tee boxes and greens were in terrible shape. Starter had me down for a tee time 20 minutes earlier than I signed up for. Getting to the first tee was very chaotic starter had a hard time figuring out who was who.

Great round
The course is a great layout and was in good condition. Greens were a little slow, but, were in good shape. Compared to all of the other overpriced courses in Destin, this is a great course for the money.
