Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Great Track

This course had a great layout. Would have been good to know that it had been closed down for 3 days for aeration but even with that it was in good condition. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to get our 2-person group off earlier which allowed for a quicker pace of play.

Greens need a little work

Fairways in good condition, but greens were a little sparse in places. Enjoyed the course, just not in peak shape at this point.

Very playable

Would have been a good add to have a ranger out - 4 in front slowed things down - cart technology can keep club house posted on gaps opening up - they were clearly enjoying themselves to the point they were not aware of their pace

That said played it before and would recommend it and play it again

Deceivingly long layout

I was disappointed in the condition of some of the greens. This is the time of year that the greens should be perfect and for $130, I expect the entire course to be in perfect condition. The driving range made you hit off of very worn and outdated "Mats." At least get some of the new field turf mats many ranges use. In addition, it was very humid, but there were no towels in the carts. We had just played Kelly's Plantation and the Driving range allowed you to hit off grass & they had all the towels you needed. I asked the pro shop about the towels and they stumbled for an answer and finally came up with the "Covid" excuse, so I was forced to purchase a towel in the pro shop. The nicest staff member we encountered was as we left and he explained that I should have played the third tees. The second tees play too long for me.
