About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Nice track, good views, trees were beautiful, but cut down distance when hit by my balls.
Very happy with the course and random playing companions. The bag folks and club cleaners were less than friendly. They seemed to be too busy to be inconvenienced by golfers,

Pros: Great layout, excellent fairway and greens.
Cons: No Markers for 100,150,200 yards on fairway, no trash cans, no ball washers, no identification of what hole you were pulling up to. The cart had to let us know what hole/tee box we were coming upon and how long of a hole it was each time.

Great shape
Everything was great except for the clubhouse being locked up at the very end. Loaded my clubs in the car and was told that I would have to go to a pool bathroom across the parking lot. I feel like the clubhouse should stay open for at least five minutes after the last group is in.

This is my favorite course in Destin. Absolutely a must-play.
PACE: My 2some was done in just under 4 hours, but we did see some 5-somes out on the course.
CONDITIONS: Greens, bunkers, and tee boxes all excellent.
STAFF: Very helpful and personable. Everyone seems interested in making sure the golfers have a wonderful experience.
LAYOUT: I really enjoy the variety of holes on this course. It seems there's a fun challenge on every hole. Really keeps my attention and makes the round fun.

Not worth the $$&
Poor fairways. Green we’re OK slow in the afternoon. Not worth the money. Overall the course lay out and property is very nice. We played in mid March so maybe the grass is still dormant. The course could be great with some maintenance Pace of play was OK with a very crowded course

Great Day at Emerald Bay
I’m vacationing for a week in Florida and brought my clubs to play. I selected Emerald Bay as it had some pretty good reviews. And now, I would say, for good reason. The staff, from the people loading/unloading my clubs onto the cart, to the staff in the pro shop. All were top notch. As this is early March, I didn’t expect pristine course conditions, but the greens were in fabulous shape. I played the II tees which was moderately challenging. There’s plenty of water and sand in play, but I avoided it for the most part. Pace of play was good as it took exactly 4 hours for our foursome. To top it off, because I booked my tee time on line, I was given a free gift, which was of their very nice dry fit golf shirts. I’d not hesitate to play another round at Emerald Bat.
