About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Good layout
I have played this course several times the last few years and always enjoy the course. You can’t beat the staff and the course is a good, interesting layout. The only disappointment for me this year was the speed of the greens, it wasn’t terrible but they weren’t as fast as previous years. They still putted true, but I loved the previous speed. Will be back next year!!!

One of better courses in Destin
As a repeat winter visitor to the area, I find that winter golfing is priced very competitively.. Emerald bay was among the better courses I played for my 20 plus handicap.
The course is kept to what the conditions will allow. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Nice gem in the area
Great course that had pretty browned out fairways due to the cold weather but still played well. Greens were healthy and played fair.

Nice Course, good value for the money
Overall I thought Emerald Bay was a nice course. Not too fancy, not too plain. I played in late February so it was still a little brown but the greens were in great shape and rolled very nicely. The staff was super friendly when I first arrived and when I checked in. I would play this course again especially in the spring when it starts to green up.

Windy
20 mph winds when we started but reduced by the turn. Very playable. Every skill level has an opportunity to enjoy the game.

Nice coarse
Putting greens definitely could use some work. And cart girl stops working way too early. Especially if you have an afternoon tea time. But overall nice course for the price

Emerald Bay - a gem!
Fun to play - good layout with fair challenges, yet relatively forgiving fairways, but relatively fast greens that roll true.

I had a wonderful time playing EB again. The course was in good condition and the staff was as friendly as I remember from previous visits. The folks that I was matched with were very nice. I will come back!

A good time
A fun 18. I especially liked the finishing hole; a good risk v reward par 5. Pace of play was slow, but we are on vacation so it was easier to go with the flow. Staff was friendly and polite. Maybe a bit expensive for the afternoon round. All in all though, we enjoyed ourselves and like the course.

Worth the Visit
1st time at this course, very enjoyable. Due to the time of year, grasses were browned up and fairways very firm. Greens were in very good condition. very nice feel to the course, well maintained. Played at 08:30, which was perfect, as it felt like we had the course all to ourselves as most folks were waiting until after 9 to play as it was just a little cool in the morning. Looking forward to playing again once spring comes along.
