About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Vacation golf
Emerald bay was a beautiful course. Later out nicely with some challenging holes . Greens were in good condition, fast and true. Price was a little steep but figured since it was vacation why not splurge!!! Staff was as friendly as can be..

Ok but not worth the money
Staff at the pro shop were very nice and considerate. Older man at handling the carts didn’t care about customer service but the young man was very nice. Course played well but was by far not worth the cost of play. The fairways and greens should have been in much better shape. I’ve played numerous courses for 1/3 the cost and twice as nice. I will not return nor recommend based on course conditions versus cost.

Don't do it
Not a great course at all, greens are rough at best and the course over all needs some work. Definitely not a $75+ track....

Great Golf Course
My only disappointment came when checking in. I showed my military ID (I'm retired Army) and the man behind the counter told me they don't provide a military discount anymore. They've "had trouble in the past with the younger members of the military that have played there before." I'm only going to say that he disparaged a whole class of young Americans.
Windy Golf Day
Loved the course and thought the personnel was top notch. From the Pro to the bag handlers I had a great experience. Definitely will be back soon.

Not worth it
Fairway thin. Greens were patchy and bumpy. Had one hole in the middle of dirt where they had lost the green.

Nice track, good views, trees were beautiful, but cut down distance when hit by my balls.
Very happy with the course and random playing companions. The bag folks and club cleaners were less than friendly. They seemed to be too busy to be inconvenienced by golfers,
