Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis
About
The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on most of the holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

This is 4 th panhandle course we have played in the last 10 days. This was in better condition of any we have played. Some greens show stress from Summer heat. Good layout, great week day price.
Fun Time
Fun and relaxed time playing this course Oct 28 thru Nov 6 2020. The team was very helpful and professional. This is not a new course it was a fun time. Excellent course location because I was staying on Seascape property at Wyndham Majestic Sun Resort. I look forward to playing here again when I return to Miramar Beach.
Better than Expected
After booking my tee time I started reading the negative posts. In site of all the negativity, I was pleasantly surprised at Seascape. There are several greens in desperate need of work. But there equal numbers or more that were in excellent shape. Some bare tee boxes and dry areas in the fairways. As staff told me they have suffered weather challenges but are turning the corner. I got a great rate and it was well worth the money. It’s not Regatta or Kelly but not their costs either. So enjoy the golf as a good value.
Worst course around
Don’t waste your time playing here, it’s an absolute goat track. Their “greens” challenge you on your previous definition of the words. The greens at Seascape would be more considered “browns”. For $35, I’d expect at least to have greens that to have the slightest bit of consistency, but here it’s hard to find a putt that either doesn’t bounce off line in 10 different directions or you are putting through a checkerboard of dirt and splotchy grass.
Just So So
I wish they would put some money in this course. It could be really nice. Really the green keeper should be fired. If they have one. Don't bother with 19th hole it's a sad.
Wow! Much improvement
We played here last Sunday and the greens were not good. We came back today, and the greens were much improved. Don't know what you did, but thank you! We will be back soon
Pros and Cons
Haven't played this course since Hurricane Sally dumped a ton of rain on the area. I thought the fairways were acceptable overall, but still need to be grown in more in many spots. The greens would have had some sparse patches, but I don't think they had been mowed for a week or better, so the sparse patches were not the only issue. I will go again, but will likely call the course for condition updates first. Had my wife with me and she thought the women's tees were unkept and we did not even find on on #5.
Good value
Layout is nice and interesting challenges
Greens were in poor shape.
Overall the experience was ok
Greens were awful!! No grass and pine straw all over them. Weeds all over the course. Played course a lot in the past, but don’t know if I’ll go back.
A hurricane can only take so much blame.
This isn't the first time I've played this course and I like its layout but it would seem the condition of the course gets worse everytime I do. Firstly hole 14 was closed and 11 had pumping equipment on the fairway due to flooding from the sea surge of 'Hurricane Sally'. Most of the greens looked as much lost as they did before the storm had been and gone, blaming 'Sally' for the damage to me is a bad excuse. To compound all of this other golfers decided that they would jump in front and hold us up, no etiquette whatsoever. I've given this course many chances but as I say its getting worse not better, the price paid was reduced as hole 14 was closed. Full price is around $50 and this isn't worth $50 by any stretch of the imagination. When we told the cart guy what we thought of the greens after finishing he said that a pump was broken and had been since the summer. Nothing is being invested into this course, which is reflected in it - it's terrible.
Shameful condition
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! We gave this place another chance after not playing it for a number of months due to poor greens. This was a mistake- the greens are the poorest I have ever played. It’s a slur on Emerald Coast golf. Such a shame as it’s not a bad layout. I cat see this place surviving ling term- even the cart bridges are dilapidated. If you read this review and then go play, you’re a lemon and you will have no right to be disappointed!
In bad shape!
They should be paying you to come play on this course!
It is in such bad shape! And with a hole closed and equipment on the course it should at least be severely discounted.
The staff don’t wear masks. Can’t tell if they sanitized cart, so bring your own Clorox wipes to wipe everything down.
