Course in Great Shape
Very much a novice golfer but we really enjoyed the course. In great shape.
Great course
First time playing. I was looking for an 18 to play in the Destin area without paying $125+. . This came in just under that because II found a deal on GN and got 11:45 tee time and took a chance on it and I’m glad I did. We were welcomed at our car and someone help load our cart. The course from the boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape. The curse offers plenty of challenges with long par 3’s and par 4’s and 5’s that dogleg. Overall, great experience.
Very Nice!
$155 is a little steep but this course was in great shape from tee boxes all the way to the greens. Will definitely play again next time we come down!
Great conditions
Great conditions, except greens had recently been Top dressed, but they still rolled true. Fairways, sand, tee boxes, all in great playing shape. We played a two some in 3:30. Great pace.
Nice course
Really beautiful course. Smallish, fast greens and primo fairways and bunkers. Lots of gnats but they weren’t biting so we ignored it. Not sure if they could spray or something for that. I got a deal on a later afternoon tee time and I’d definitely play it again.

Very nice turf on the greens, tees, and fairways. Greens were fast and smooth. Wide fairways.
Always a pleasure
Indian Bayou is the best value for golf in Destin. Conditions were great with lush fairways and sandy but pure greens. Bunkers were in good condition with plenty of sand.
Service is good with full bar and snacks. Kitchen was unfortunately closed but it was almost 5pm. Beverage cart came around multiple times with plenty of options. Could have more water coolers around the course.
Only complaint is the short game area is reserved for members only. Will be back whenever a hot deal is available.
Great round
We really enjoyed our round here. This our first time playing at Indian Bayou and it did not disappoint. The course was in great condition and the outside service and pro shop staff were very friendly.
Indian Bayou Golf Course (5 Star)
While on Family Vacation I booked a 12:30 pm Tee Time for the Front 9. Staff was Very Accommodating, Course was Immaculate and Pace of Play was Excellent. I Highly Recommend- (Indian Bayou Golf Course) when in Destin, Florida. I will definitely be back to play the whole Course.
Why so much money??
Nice course, use to be my favorite in Destin, FL but the cost is astronomical for what it is, not worth $170.
Overpriced
Been playing here every summer twice a year for 30 years when we come to Destin, Indian bayou is really one of my favorites, but I refuse to spend $3000 to play golf for week!! We come twice a year and we use to play every morning (6 days), but now they are way overpriced!! Now we play once or none as nobody wants to pay $170 for a lousy round of golf on a decent, but not exceptional golf course. Destin courses have all gotten stupidly overpriced and not worth the money.
