Great conditions
Great conditions, except greens had recently been Top dressed, but they still rolled true. Fairways, sand, tee boxes, all in great playing shape. We played a two some in 3:30. Great pace.
Nice course
Really beautiful course. Smallish, fast greens and primo fairways and bunkers. Lots of gnats but they weren’t biting so we ignored it. Not sure if they could spray or something for that. I got a deal on a later afternoon tee time and I’d definitely play it again.
Great Conditions
Very nice turf on the greens, tees, and fairways. Greens were fast and smooth. Wide fairways.
Always a pleasure
Indian Bayou is the best value for golf in Destin. Conditions were great with lush fairways and sandy but pure greens. Bunkers were in good condition with plenty of sand.
Service is good with full bar and snacks. Kitchen was unfortunately closed but it was almost 5pm. Beverage cart came around multiple times with plenty of options. Could have more water coolers around the course.
Only complaint is the short game area is reserved for members only. Will be back whenever a hot deal is available.
Great round
We really enjoyed our round here. This our first time playing at Indian Bayou and it did not disappoint. The course was in great condition and the outside service and pro shop staff were very friendly.
Indian Bayou Golf Course (5 Star)
While on Family Vacation I booked a 12:30 pm Tee Time for the Front 9. Staff was Very Accommodating, Course was Immaculate and Pace of Play was Excellent. I Highly Recommend- (Indian Bayou Golf Course) when in Destin, Florida. I will definitely be back to play the whole Course.
Why so much money??
Nice course, use to be my favorite in Destin, FL but the cost is astronomical for what it is, not worth $170.
Overpriced
Been playing here every summer twice a year for 30 years when we come to Destin, Indian bayou is really one of my favorites, but I refuse to spend $3000 to play golf for week!! We come twice a year and we use to play every morning (6 days), but now they are way overpriced!! Now we play once or none as nobody wants to pay $170 for a lousy round of golf on a decent, but not exceptional golf course. Destin courses have all gotten stupidly overpriced and not worth the money.
Wonderful experience
This was my first time playing this course and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The course was in immaculate condition. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and helpful..
The chorus has a very friendly design, not a lot of hazards to catch your balls in so very easy to score well. I will definitely come back and play here again!

The courses In Destin it was in perfect shape! Staff was friendly and there was zero pace of play issues! Course lay out is very nice and easy for the most part
Golf experience
Course was in great shape and challenging. Not much water but fairways are narrow and greens are small with sand traps guarding greens. Staff very friendly and gave some tips for my round. Great practice area which was include in your golf round.
