Very nice course
Even with the course maintenance taking place while playing, it was a great experience!
Super staff
Played here Saturday and returned on Wednesday. would have given the course a 5, but like most of the courses here, they just aerated the greens. Beautiful course. Good driving range. Beautiful clubhouse. People who work here can't do enough to make your day spectacular.
Pre-Wedding Front Nine
Had a wonderful time, getting in nine holes before my son's wedding. Biggest enjoyment was that I was able to book a time that worked with our schedule with very little notice. Course was very nice and weather was perfect.
Awesome course for reasonable green fee
Played Indian Bayou twice on our recent trip to Destin. The course was in excellent condition. I highly recommend this challenging course next time you are in the area. Hooked with a member Allen (or Alan) who was a pleasure to play a round with. He offered great input on the details of the course which made my round more enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff who made my day from the pro’s, baggage guys, starter, drink cart lady to the cooks and server at the restaurant. My appreciation to all. See ya next year!!!
Nice course!
We really enjoyed this course. Looking forward to playing it again, next time we are in town.
Definitely a waste of money
I chose this course in spite of a few bad reviews, and have never been more sorry. The comments about weeds were factual, and fairways had bare dirt spots. We ended up moving numerous shots to find grass. For a twilight rate of $125+, you expect something better than pasture pool. BEWARE AND BE WARNED!!!
Solid Florida golf experience
Indian Bayou offers a layout that allows for creativity off the tee and multiple approach options. The course conditions were good but not quite great for late April. Staff was very courteous, but pace of play was slowed a touch by connected foursomes.

No water buckets on the course but everything is great.
This was an awesome beach course.
Had a great time playing Indian Bayou. We had so much fun we played it again the next day. First time to vacation in the Destin, Panama City area of Florida. We will be back!
Nice Course - Great Conditions - Overpriced
Course was in beautiful condition. We tee’d off at 8:30 with very few people on the driving range (things were much busier when we finished at 11:45am). Pace of play was excellent. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Impressed with the condition of the greens/fairways/tee boxes. The course is not very challenging as a low single digit handicap (wide fairways, simple greens, minimal trouble) and overall felt a bit overpriced at $160. If you can get a ‘hot deal’, it would be much better value.
