Well worth the drive
I drove an hour and twenty minutes to play this course, and I was not disappointed. Everything about my experience at Indian Bayou was top notch!! Course condition was outstanding and the greens are some of the best I’ve played in the area. Staff was awesome and extremely helpful. Loved the course layout and pin placement. I will definitely play this course again!!
Awesome course
Greens are quick and deceptive, course layout makes it play long, and is overall a pretty challenging course but a lot of fun. Feels rather grand while playing it.
Community course At best
I’ve played every course in Destin and this is by far the worst course around and expensive to boot.
Don’t waste your hard earned money on this dog track.
Played very slow and staff could care less about it.
Called the pro shop and they told me to talk to the group!
Jeez at 160 dollars this place is a rip.
Zero character
Sad Staff
I have played this course several times and enjoy the layout. Unfortunately each time the staff and course managers ruin the experience. Except for the lower staff, cart, greeters etc, the old dudes seem to loath GolfNow players. I'm 65 and was placed with high school kids! My single cart was taken away and I had to double up! So I couldn't play my game at all. The kids were polite but couldn't play golf and wanted to party. In front of us were a 5 group! (Old men) behind were a 3 group, old men, either I could of played with. The starter was rude when I explained I needed my own cart (it wasn't that busy!) this is isn't the first time I've seen this 'I don't care' experience. I won't play this course again! And I'm getting rid of my Bayou hat. Thanks again guys!
Great course
Enjoyed it very much It was very well maintained and I like the flow
Average Florida Course
Fairly average course for Florida - flat and forgiving. Had a nice round , conditions were fine, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Just not nearly worth the price given nicer courses in the area priced similarly.
Best Greens
Haven't ever given5 stars but for early March the course deserves it. Clearly the best conditioned greens in this area and the fairways are coming in nicely.
Great conditions
The course was in INCREDIBLE shape. Greens were fast and pace of play was good. Was paired with a threesome from St. Louis. Great group. Good golfers and just fun to be around. Enjoyed the whole experience. Would recommend course to anyone.
