Bull Bay Golf Club

Played on Good Friday and cannot recommend it enough.

Course in great condition, not too busy, really friendly staff (in the shop and Sascha in the restaurant) and friendly members who were keen to help.

No wind which helped and lots going on to improve the course so I really look forward to playing again in the Open Week in August.

Thoroughly recommend it.

Stayed the week on a family break in Anglesey. Bull bay was a 15 minute drive from where I was staying. Course was lovely and dry for this time of year, fairways nice and short and green. Green where excellent. First time playing a links course and would 100% recommend.

Played here for the first time, with my 6 year old son. I wish I could’ve scored the staff friendliness 100, as they couldn’t do enough for us. A free club ball marker for my son from the lady in the pro shop (this absolutely made his day and he hasn’t stopped looking at it since). The man from the office coming out to greet us and direct us to where we should go. Friendly green staff and members topped off with great bar and kitchen staff who served us our dinner after our round. It was great to see and experience a club actively encouraging young golfers to play and enjoy the game. Played in February in howling wind and rain, but we absolutely loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend a round here, just make sure you wrap up warm if playing off season. Thanks for having us.

We played this course 25-27 November 2022 and it didn’t disappoint. What a fantastic course and played lovely even with the rain we had over the weekend. Very testing course but enjoyable at the same time. We’ll definitely be back on a regular basis. Staff were brilliant and members were welcoming. We will 100% be recommending this course to friends or whoever asks where to go play their away trips. Also, one last thing… the greens were absolutely superb.

What a pleasure to play Bull Bay. Although off forward tees due to the time of year the course was in fantastic condition despite heavy rain the previous day. The views are amazing with sea vistas all round the course. Some very memorable holes and a fair mix of open driving opportunities on the longer ones with smaller narrow fairways on shorter holes. Loved the changes in elevation and mix of tricky greens which were feature packed all the way round. Even a good breeze and the odd downpour could not dampen the spirits. Nice pint and friendly staff to make the whole package a very worthwhile visit.

We were fortunate that on the day we played the wind was down to a breeze. Having played the course in wind, a tough course becomes very difficult.

Make no mistake though, this is a beautifully prepared golf course, firm fairways, great sand in the traps and fantastic greens, fast and true.

A word of praise also for the staff who were welcoming pleasant and very helpful., as were all the members we spoke to on the day.

Not an easy course, but a pleasure to play.

Thought it would just be overpriced but each hole is unique and the tee cost was well worth it, difficult to get round but enjoyable and beautiful views at each hole.

Had heard good things about Bull Bay but didn’t expect to find a course that would immediately get into my top 10 favourites ; the course layout, design, interesting holes with difficulty but also fun factor, great views, conditioning, pro welcome, bar friendliness- and on top the weather was kind and sunny adding to the enjoyment.

Great course, excellent condition, staff in pro shop great and green staff were excellent, would recommend a visit there.

Went round with four top blokes In front of us showing us the way, everyone was incredibly friendly. Thank you to all at the club!!

First time of playing really enjoyed the course although not playing my best I thought it was a tough course in great condition bar facilities great and all the staff were very friendly. Would definitely return.

Challenging course in lovely condition despite the hot dry weather. Had great fun having been allowed to join up with three regular members.

This is quite a hilly course but buggies are available if needed and the spectacular views make it worth the effort..

In summary a most enjoyable game of golf followed by a much needed beer in the lovely club house.
