Greens have been cored, not sanded, terrible

This cannot be a true test of golf. Fair enough greens have to be cored, but tell people before charging them top dollar for a round. To turn up to that is not acceptable.

I have played bull bay previously and always enjoy the course, but when greens have been cored and are totally unplayable then they should tell people before hand rather than just take our green fees. I felt really dissappointed having told my playing partners how good bull bay was.

Terrible paying to play on that.

Having been recommended b a number of people , i have to say i was very disappointed. This almost started from the get go , no pro , no stock in the pro shop , although the girl who showed us around was welcoming .

The course it's self was very disappointing the greens ha been hollowtyned and did not appear to have been dressed or more importantly watered and was totally unacceptable and we should have been told this prior to the booking . The next issue is the signage whilst member's would know where to go we did not and the signage which was in place was small and ill positioned . There are a number of blind holes either from the tee and no a little marker posts , on a number of par 4 holes you can hit a good tee shot and still have a blind shot to the green and unable to even see the top of the flag Finally around some greens the grasses had not been collected and looked tatty . All this is disappointing the views and location are to die for . These comments are reflective of what we saw , i believe this is not typical to a true reflection of the course we played

Great course which will provide a challenge for all. Lots of raised tees and blind greens off the tee. I throughly enjoyed my round at bull bay and would recommend to anyone.

Very enjoyable course with a unique quirkyness about it. Many blind tee shots on to neatly moved fairways that reward accuracy. Greens were undulating and true. A must play for any visitors to the Isle.

Great course and challenge, a few blind tee shots but all part of the lynx’s challenge!! Great value for money recommend to anyone to play!

Last played this course 20+ years ago and it’s just as I remembered, totally superb.

The course is in top condition with super-slick greens and carpet like fairways.

Would really recommend this course for a great day out and a tough but fair test of links golf!

Great course, challenging, great views and shape to the course. Friendly welcome. Would recommend.

The course is excellent, the fairways and greens are In great condition and provide multiple challenges on every hole.

Local members are very friendly and the pace of play is really decent And allows you to enjoy the game and the views out to the Irish Sea as you get around.

Facilities are really good and we were particularly impressed with the 19th hole which has an honesty box and a fridge full of lager, wine and cider to choose from.

Pro shop was decent and the guy in-their very friendly and helpful.

Would highly recommend this course.

Tried to play here last year but the weather was against us. Today the wind was blowing but the sun was out and what a treat. A thoroughly well thought out course beautifully presented in fantastic condition. If you are in Anglesey and looking for a game look no further this course is truly outstanding in my humble opinion. I’ll definitely be going back as soon as I can.

A great course played it in horrendous conditions it was still really enjoyable and amazingly challenging must play!

Excellent days golf. Course in very good condition and the view across the bay from the first green is worth every penny.

The scoring is great if you keep on the fairway which are wide enough but if syou have a slice or a hook your in the gorse with no chance of finding your ball.

Would recommend a round at Bull Bay all day long and would imagine if the wind is howling from the sea scoring would be very difficult and this would be a very different course.

Book

The only down side would the price if you book through the club. Maybe I feel they reduced the price from £35 to a more reasonable price of £20 more people would be on the course to generate more revenue in the bar after their round.

All in all a great place to play golf.
