Golfer Reviews
Tee boxes not fit to play
Condition of the course is pretty poor. I understand it’s never the best during the winter but the greens were extremely patchy and the drainage on the course is dreadful
The worst part about the course by far is the winter tee boxes. Genuinely not fit for purpose, they’re either absolutely solid - like teeing off the car park or they’re extremely soft - like teeing off quick sand. They’re made of the cheapest material ever and seems as though the course are trying to save money on them. The boxes itself are also very small.
I played this course as a bit of a tester before joining the club for a yearly membership. I’ll now steer clear.
Well worth a visit.
Great course greens were excellent for time of year. Really good to see a course working on the quality of the layout and the difficulty in approach to greens.
This course is 1 of the best.
Played it today and with all the rain we have had recently the course was In brilliant condition. The lady serving was lovely as well.

Very helpful staff. The course was lovely. Our first time there but we found our way around. The course is open but offers a challenge. Will definitely play there again.

Good course in good condition played well considering wet weather lately
Brilliant course
Iv Got to be honest I loved the course 10/10 from me.
Overpriced for what you get
Was quite surprised by how mediocre this course was considering the venue and location it is in. Already playing off winter tees, and still charging full price for rounds. Pace was very slow, to be expected on a Saturday, but almost felt the course was overbooked.
Probably wouldn’t play here again until the summer, and only if I was integrating a stay overnight and use of all of the facilities.
Golf now booking
Could do with signs advising of priorities to certain greens/tees on tee boxes
Playing the 3rd hole and didn’t realise the tee box for the 4th is tucked into the trees on the left of the hole
So slow
Teed off at 11.24am by the 8th we’d been out for over 2hours groups in front all hitting multiple tee shots and no intention to call people through. Called pro shop to be told course is busy get on with it - I’m not up for a 5 hr round left soon after
Nice course but hole maps needed!!
Despite the awful recent weather the greens and general conditions were very good. Shame about the temp green on 18 and sinkhole on 16. Really nice bar and pro shop area too. One thing that is desparately needed is hole layout maps at each tee. A few holes were total guesswork as to where to aim which for a non regular at this course was a struggle. Would definitely return though.

Great course played well considering the amount of rain over the last month. Wet in places but still very playable. Greens were excellent.
Four young boys in front of us very slow play to the point we played though and so did a few others also 5 tempry greens which for the price was steep
Not bad
Thought the course was okay however was not told about any temporary greens when I booked in and there were 4 off them. The ground was not as wet as most I’ve played recently just thought the price was a bit high for this time of year.
Usually very good
Have played this course 3 times now. In the summer it was great. However after a spell of wet weather we did find the conditions a little boggy this time, but that’s part of winter golf.
All the holes were teed off mats and 4 of the greens were out of action and replaced with fairway greens. We felt the price paid (£35pp) didn’t fairly reflect the course conditions on this occasion. It’s a nice layout and there’s a decent restaurant to sit down in after the round to enjoy a meal.

Great condition considering the recent rain will definitely play again very good winter course
