Wenvoe Castle Golf Club

Really nice course, in good condition especially considering the time of year. Greens were great and some beautiful views and interesting holes. Didn’t get to check out the bar but would definitely return.

Normally have a good round at Wenvoe. Tried to play a quick 18 alone on a Friday afternoon and got caught by a series of 4 balls.

Most were happy to let me play through straight away until a group at the 9th refused to let me through claiming there was no point due to people ahead. After being stuck behind the 4 ball I gave up after the 11th with holes 9, 10 and 11 taking almost as long as the other 8 holes.

This is 3 rd time playing here we had 3 days off rain before we played course good drainage it’s a long course but enjoyable will definitely be back

It was Friday morning and the first 9 holes took us over 2 hours and 15 minutes

This is second time playing here the course is kept in great condition enjoyed it both times there staff really friendly and views are great definitely will be back

Was a good day of golfing at Wenvoe. Conditions underfoot was good even after all the rain we had. Greens and fairway in good condition.

Only bit of criticism as it was my first time there was no course layout on the card or maps of each hole on the tees - and not every hole you could go on a virtual tour on their website like other clubs.

Apart from that good golfing experience.

It's been over two years since we played here, and the course was in great condition - and empty. Why we only had a single tee time option is unknown, but it was a total pleasure.

A great 50/50 course. Front 9 is a lot of up and down hills, with some holes that require accuracy. Back 9 is more flat and open. The only issue was AWFUL speed of play. We were a pair behind a 3 that were awful, taking 15-20 mins per hole and losing balls off EVERY tee. Ahead of them were 3x 4-Balls. We were never let through despite being on the tee box with them at least a dozen times. Nobody from clubhouse on course martialling this. Shame. Spoiled the day. Shouldn't take 4 and a half hours for a Pairs.

Course in amazing condition considering the deluge South Wales has suffered, greens running true, fairways manicured. Shame the golfer playing was rusty...not surprising after all the rain

Interesting parkland course with a few stand out challenging holes. Good variety throughout the course - particularly the par par 4s with some very long and others short but ‘tricky’. It’s tight in places but the most consistent challenge was greens which were small and often well protected by hazards. Friendly members and pro shop staff. Worth a visit.

Considering the weather recently the course was still in excellent condition. One of my favourite courses. Cant recommend it more highly

Amazing, just amazing! Recommend to anyone, people say it’s a hard course? I don’t think so. I haven’t been playing long, and playing 18 here I had my best score yet.

Played this course for the first time today, for the time of year it was still firm under foot , the fairways and the greens were in excellent condition, greens were still pretty quick and true . The layout and the views were fantastic. Highly recommend this course A1 👍🏼 great value for money!
