Great course with stunning views and plenty of wildlife!

Played the night after a heavy rain storm but the course was playable if a little soggy in places. Staff and members were really friendly and were a great help when we arrived.

Will definitely play here again as my playing partner had to retire injured on the 2nd and we need to come back so he can get a full round in!

Good layout with great views

Clyne is a lovely, down land course. Unfortunately our visit came after a prolonged period of wet weather. The greens had been hollow tined, but the green staff clearly hadn’t been able to do much work because of the weather. Would love to go back in the summer.

Tough but Great

The welcome in the Pro shop was excellent and the young man came outside to show us where everything was, he also gave us free trolleys, which was a bonus. The course is upland and heathy with plenty of ferns and gorse to claim your ball if you’re wayward but there are no weak holes in my opinion and the greens are both tricky and in outstanding condition, as we’re the bunkers. We shared the course with sheep and horses, which was great and all the greens are fenced off to protect them, which we have come across before and caused no issues whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone in the area and commend the members we met for their friendliness.

Wonderful setting

Superb views in perfect weather. Tough course. Dry and breezy conditions made it very hard to stay on hilly fairways and hit well protected greens. Thick bracken and gorse as well. Friendly staff. Only downside was being held up by 2 ball through the back 9 - unbelievably slow considering they had a buggy! But I was fine taking it easy and enjoying the panorama.
