Golf at its wildest

First off, I must say Clyne has an amazingly stocked pro shop with the most helpful professional in attendance. That really set the day up on the right foot. The practice facilities are obviously missing a full range but with nets, a short game area and putting green all is in hand really. The course itself is tough, although said to be heathland it plays like a true links course. A very hilly course with wind pretty much affecting every shot. Not only do you have the challenge of the elements, you also have the wild life, sheep and horses are plenty on the course. Because of this, you'll find electric fencing around the greens and some of the tees. It doesn't really add to the challenge but more the quirkiness of the course. As well as the fore mentioned the best thing about Clyne is the views across the Bay (just close your eyes when Port Talbot comes in shot) as they are spectacular. All in all a true test of golf on a tough course with so many aspects to make you remember this course

Great course, stunning greens, glorious views, friendly staff

An under-rated gem in a lovely part of Wales. The day we played was cold but sunny and the course was lovely underfoot. Greens were excellent - running firm and true - an absolute delight.

Each hole presented a different challenge and the shots to the green can be tricky. Stunning views of Mumbles pier and Swansea Bay!

Staff in the pro shop were very welcoming, as were the catering and bar staff. Looking forward to returning here to play again.
