Aguila Golf Course
About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Golfer Reviews
Where are the coolers?
The good: Carts have been set up with GPS monitors and allows you to quickly order your food/beverages at the turn. That’s a plus.
The bad: Cart staff non-existent. None in site before or after our round to help with loading/unloading, club clean up.
The terrible: How the heck in this environment can you NOT provide coolers to keep things cold?
Always had a good experience
Ive always had a good experience. I dont always play well at Aguila GC but i love the challenge and the course layout. The Fairways, Greens and tee boxes are usually in good condition. I have played several other golf courses in the valley and paid more and had worse conditions. So the current conditions at Aguila are worth it to me in my mind.
Worth the drive
For a city course I was totally surprised how fun it was. Go. Play.
Great city course
Aguilla GC is a great facility and a pleasure to play. Layout is challenging and interesting. Surroundings are beautiful and relatively peaceful. Staff are accommodating and helpful. Snack bar is ok but last draft beer I had there was not cold so think their keg system may have needed servicing. Otherwise ok. I love the course though.
Aguila
The overall condition of the course was good especially for this time of year. greens were a little bumpy from aerating but not terrible should be perfect in a week or so.
