Course Highlights
Quintero's dramatic elevation changes and uniquely designed holes make it one of Arizona's most celebrated layouts. Welcoming staff and well-maintained conditions consistently reward golfers who make the scenic drive out.

About

Holes 18
Type Semi-Private
Style Desert/Traditional
Par 72
Length 7249 yards
Slope 148
Rating 75.3

Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

Best course in Phoenix

I've played Troon North.....Boulders....Southern Dunes.....Wekopa......Dinasour Mountain....TPC Stadium.....and Quintero is the best period and it's not really close. All the others are great but this place is just unreal.

Must Play!

Best public course in Phoenix area in my opinion. Played today and course is absolutely perfect. Teed off after lunch and had entire course to myself. Absolutely love this place. No homes around just the desert and an incredible course. I like The Boulders and Troon North but this is my favorite. A must play!

Bunkers were filled with rocks, dead spots on the greens, and “players assistants”, their name for a marshal, who lack decent judgement and manners. The course plays slow at 4 hours 26 minutes target pace of play and you have to driver the slow shoddy carts for 10 minutes from the proshop to get to the practice area and first tee. When you finish you have to drive another 10 minutes back, some of the worst routing I’ve experienced in 35+ years of golfing. But the main issue was the marshal, rude, aggressive behavior, and really had a negative impact on the round.

Course was stunning and in incredible shape for summer. Greens were true, fairways were green, tee boxes were well maintained. Only complaint is that if you book as a 3some and a 4th joins you, they will put you on a cart with the single. Never seen a course make two strangers ride together before.

Purest course in AZ right now.

Summer conditions at Quintero were phenomenal. Not a patch of dead grass anywhere on the entire course, absolutely beautiful course. Greens were quick and rolled true. Have played most courses in the valley this summer and this was by the far the best conditions. 10/10. Staff was also great. Was the best $55 I have ever spent.
