Quintero Golf Club

Out in the middle of no where... Nothing around just a bad location and staff to match. Never seen a beverage cart until you hit the back 9. The greens are a joke along with the tee boxes.. The only thing they have going it's beautiful around there. The golf carts are as slow as can be. Takes almost 10 min. to get to the 1st. tee. They are still working out of a tent and trailer this course I feel does not have much life left. Beautiful design just in the wrong location...If you tee off at noon do not think about having a drink they are to busy closing and pushing you out the gate.

This just became my favorite course in the "area". Lighting fast, true greens that held your approach shots. Entire course was in excellent condition. True desert golf with many elevation changes. Challenging but fair. Peaceful, beautiful, and quiet (almost eerie quiet.) I used quotations around "area" above as it is in the middle of nowhere and takes an hour from Sky Harbor - but well worth the drive imo. Will definitely play again.

Course is challenging tight fairways sand and water. Views are incredible and u still can post. A good score

A little out of the way but well worth it. This is the nicest public golf course that I have played in Arizona. The elevation changes and the views are incredible. I only hope it stays public.

I've played a lot of terrific golf courses like Pinehurst #2, Torrey Pines Quail Hollow and Quintero is as good as it gets. The course is as well manicured and in as good a condition as you will find. The greens are fast but receptive to shots. You getter bring your A game when playing this course as there are plenty of challenges on every shot. The views are spectacular as well. Outstanding practice and warm up area. Hospitality was exceptional. It is well worth the drive from Phoenix to play this one.

This was my first time playing Quintero and it was a treat! It's about as good as it gets, comparable to Troon, Boulders and Silverleaf. There's some room off the tee and most second shots are challenging. The par 3's are all excellent. The greens are fast and very, very good. I live near Camelback Mountain and it took exactly an hour to drive there. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Great practice facilities.

course was recently over seeded so it was cart path only. walking on the fairway felt spongy and very damp. greens were awesome! course looks beautiful and not very busy yet.

Did you ever see Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner, build it and they will come? This is the golf course equivalent! It's 30 mins out of town on the road to no where. There's barely anything built around it. The course is one of the best maintained, I've ever played. One reason was they were doing over seeding so it was cart path only. It had memorable holes, elevation, water, and multiple tee set ups, so you can pick a good distance. The driving range was open and inviting. There was just so much attention to detail; cart paths colored and with curbing, green rock at pull-outs and bunkers outlined in Bermuda. I just can't say enough about the course. It was typical desert target golf, there was something of everything. Now the bad, if there was any was that no real facilities. Pro shop and dining facilities were very small. Plus strange six min cart ride from pro shop up to course. I actually thought this was kind of a plus, it made it like you were playing Shadow Creek. Any reason is that everything needs to be developed. So just for comparison my favorite course in Scottsdale / Phoenix is Grayhawk Raptor. I liked this course better. The only reason it wouldn't be my overall best is location and facilities. I played the Boulders two days prior for $200, and Quintero for $100. Twice as good for half the cost. It actually reminds me of a new Redlands Mesa before it was developed. So my advice, is that if you are concerned about golf this is a must play.

The coarse was everything that I heard about. A must play. A 1:30 start time does not give enough daylight to finish 18 holes. My golf now price made it worth while anyway.

Been wanting to get over to play since I first read about it. Lived up to my expectations and more. Played the Gold/Silver Combo, good length and got to hit most clubs in my bag. Just finished the overseeding, so cart path only. Great conditions, greens run fast and true. Paired up with a couple members, great guys Ed and Larry, and I'm sure we could have moved around in 3 hours with our early morning tee time vs the 4+ it took. Would play again in a minute. Definitely in my top 5 of all courses I've played in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Second day open after over-seeding and the course and greens were in great shape, a real treasure and one of the nicest courses I have ever played!!

I played this local course 4 times prior to playing Portmarnock Golf Club in Ireland. This was because of length and sloop rating. As it turned out Portmarnock was a bit easier to play than Quintero.

Quintero as many elevation changes. One par three the cart path is like Lombard Street in Frisco.

Worth the haul out of town. Fast greens make for good challenges. In great shape for end of summer. Cold beer, great views and awesome golf.

quintero is a boulders reciprocal,glad we tried the course,would definitely come back

2nd time playing in 2 weeks. Loved it so much had to come back for a second.
