Magnolia Point Golf & Country Club

Nice layout with interesting and exciting holes. Would probably be much more fun to play in the summer. The course was Bermuda with no over seed and very brown sandy, muddy with washed away spots. Greens were a bit slow. But really don't want to give them a bad review because the staff was so nice. But for this time of the year there are several courses in the area in much better shape.

Due to prior rain ,had to play front nine twice but the greens were the best putted on in many years They were true & rolled well !! The fairways were minus grass in lot of areas but plush greens made up for it

Had two groups in front that were both members. Both struggled with basic pace of play (keep up with group in front of you) and totally ignored the cart path only rule on holes 9-18. Great course, great staff but members are ruining the course because they are lazy and above the rules. And yes u did call the clubhouse but they were probably understaffed because they did nothing

The greens were immaculate and in really good shape. A few tee boxes could use a little extra work, but otherwise, the course is in great condition.

Played while visiting family in the area. Pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful.

Back nine was wet and cart path only due to recent rains. Even wet it was not in bad shape. Fairways and greens were over seeded. Fairways were good with some thin spots but very playable. Greens were very slow but rolled true once you found the speed.

Good layout with holes that move both ways. Good mix of long and short holes. Greens are on the smaller size with just enough undulation to make them interesting.

I would play here again.

2 things stood, 1) the staff, every single person is focused on the customer having a great experience, 2) the greens are very slow, but i understand that is strictly a time of year issue associated with the overseeding. The layout has a good variety of challenges. If you are a slicer you will probably hit a few houses.

Weather was great. Course is challenging. I miss not having GPS on the cart. For some reason golf apps couldn’t connect to internet. Tees fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are very slow to putt on. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable round will definitely play here again Worth the drive.

Great course, fun to play and offers some challenge

The last time I played at Magnolia Point was in the summer and the greens were in horrible condition and the fairways were in need of some attention, so I gave the course a break in the rotation. I decided to give it another go and I was surprised that the conditions of the greens were much better and the fairways looked like fairways. It looked like the tee boxes were getting some attention and the grass was coming in. I will say the greens are still very slow but they do look nice and it looks like the greens keepers are doing a good job. I will play here again.

greens and tee boxes needed to be cut. I realize the greens were recently oversewed, but I think they were ready to be cut.
