About
Cimarron Golf Club combines challenging golf with excellent landscaping and scenic views of surrounding mountain ranges. Although the course has many difficult elements, with four sets of tees it can easily accommodate different skill levels and abilities. The design of the golf course features numerous strategically placed bunkers and also desert waste areas. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. Functional yet attractive landscaping complements the course. Cimarron Golf Club, in addition to the golf course, has many practice facilities including a driving range, putting green, and short game area with a bunker.

Fun layout, friendly staff great condition
I had a pleasure playing Cimarron with a few of my best golf buddies and had a blast. Staff was very friendly. The course conditions were fantastic and I absolutely love the layout. I just bought a place five minutes away and will be back often.
GHIN HCP 6
played on 09/28/2025 and mowing grass short in preparation for overseeding but Wide Fairways, large greens and overall nice course.
Great course
The course was in great shape for summertime in Arizona. The speed of play was great and the cold towels were a nice touch. The only downside was there is no on-site restaurant.
Great shape for summer
The course is in great shape for summer. The fairways are green and lush. The greens are in good shape. I really did not see anything that could be considered a problem. It was pretty much all good.
Great Shape!
The grass everywhere is phenomenal! Must be a great staff working to keep it in such good shape!
Ghost golfers???
The course is in pretty good shape for summer. Greens are ok. I had some odd rolls. The weird part was I ran into golfers who suddenly appeared out of nowhere took their time playing the hole and once they saw I was waiting disappeared. This happened a couple times with different carts. I am not sure if golfers were just skipping holes and playing open ones or if residents were sneaking in holes without paying. Just saying you might want to send the ranger around the course once in awhile to stop these ghost golfers.
Nice track, great shap
Fairways were lush carpet for being middle of the AZ Summer. Greens were a bit slow (summer hight) but lots of break/slope.
$2.50 beers at the turn do not hurt. Will play again.
For the summer in Phoenix, the course was in excellent shape. Great job from the maintenance staff
Cimarron played on 7/5/25 at 8:07AM
Played Blue Tees, nice tee box, fairways, wide open fairways and large greens; challenging holes.
