About
Cimarron Golf Club combines challenging golf with excellent landscaping and scenic views of surrounding mountain ranges. Although the course has many difficult elements, with four sets of tees it can easily accommodate different skill levels and abilities. The design of the golf course features numerous strategically placed bunkers and also desert waste areas. Water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. Functional yet attractive landscaping complements the course. Cimarron Golf Club, in addition to the golf course, has many practice facilities including a driving range, putting green, and short game area with a bunker.

Cloudy and cold
Course is still excellent. Today was cloudy and cold, First day of winter. What are ya gonna do, right. Fairways are in excellent condition. The first cut of the rough is dark green and thick. You will want to avoid this if you can. You can get out its just much tougher. Second cut is dead winter grass just like everywhere else in the valley. Not surprising. The greens were a tad bit fast to me. I had a few shots roll off. Maybe because it was cold the ball was harder and didn't bite as quick. Not sure.
Bull Crap
I have tried a number of times over the past few months and the site says Closed due to Covid. That is funny, I live across the street in the family section of Festival Foothills and their are people playing every day. Your info is no correct.
Highly recommend
Course was in great shape and we played twilight for a reasonable price.
Shotgun Start???????
Be careful some of the courses in this development have 2 shotgun starts per day. One at 8 am and one at 12:45pm. our afternoon tee time was delayed an hour, luckily we were able to finish before dark. There is nothing in the GolfNow app to tell you this is a shotgun start. It was the first time I was disappointed in GolfNow. The staff was awesome the course was alright.

Very nice course
First time playing this course. Fairways were in good condition considering it was the middle of July, and a very dry season.. Pace of play was good. Will play again.

Beautiful course in Sun city grand, wide fairways staff are very friendly, will definitely return.
Soaking wet
The rain clouds came on the second hole, and I reverted back to auto for about 35 min. I then resumed my play and found the course to be drying fast. Nice greens, and fairways with enough bunkers to make you open your eyes. Yes I will go back again to try to beat my rain score of 87

Nice challenging course. A little bit of maintenance,. Staff was very friendly..
Shotgun start
My only complaints are, we booked on golfnow and started on hole 6 behind a 4 some and in front of a 4 some.

This course was incredible. It was in unbelievable condition for this time of the year. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and challenging course for a fair price.I had a great time.
