Pebblebrook Golf Course
About
Pebblebrook Golf Course has a traditional design with interesting challenges that are suitable for golfers of all different skill levels. The course's greens are large and undulating and the fairways are wide and lined with dense forestry. Although the course is mostly flat, there are some slight rolling hills that can cause uneven lies. To add even more challenge, sand bunkers come into play on every hole and water hazards come into play on four holes. The Pebblebrook Golf Course facility also has a chipping area and putting green for golfers to use as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Played worse courses for twice the $$$
Discovered this course about a month ago; incredible shape - fairways and greens. I keep wanting to play the other Sun City West courses, as the staff says they are all in great shape, but have played only this one the last 4 Saturdays :o) Oh, our pace of play was being first out, fyi. However, when we haven't been, it's been around 4 hours.
Course needs water.
Too many tight lies. Seems like the course was not getting enough water. Even the tee boxes were dry and hard. Broke a couple of tees just trying to put them in the ground. Good pace on the front nine but the back nine was super slow. I think they were letting people out on the back to play 9.
got there early staff was great and let us out early
windy day so a lot of people cancelled course was empty so play was fast course in great shape greens rolled true will be going back great value for the money
Nice course; no common sense in starting policy
This seems to be a common theme in the Sun City/Sun City West courses...course has multiple groups on course with less than 4 players. The starters don't put twosomes together and then you end up waiting on every shot. Golf is supposed to be a social game, pair people up and speed up play!
Wonderful Arizona golf experience.
Having never played in Arizona in the winter, had no idea what to expect. Staff was friendly, course was in great shape and the twosome they paired us with was also friendly. Overall, a great golf experience.
PRIMO Course
This facility is EXCELLENT. I wish all golf courses were kept up as well as this one. Greens are 100% perfect. Fairways are excellent. You will use every club in the bag for your round. Very challenging layout. One of my favorite courses on the west-side. Only one minor problem, if you land a ball near the water watch out for the geese as they are more angry then a junk yard watch dog! This is a must play golf course.
Better than expected
Needed a course that had early tee times and was close to where we were staying. Greens were in excellent shape.
Great condition
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great condition.
The Par 3's were challenging with good water features.
Sand traps were strategically located. Some could have benefitted from more sand.
The only disappointment was that few of the Par 4's and 5's had much character, ie: no dog legs.
Very acceptable pace of play for a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
Would play here again.
Great greens
The course was in very good condition especially the greens.
Fun to play not overly difficult but enough of a challenge to get your attention. Greens have some sneaky breaks and be below the hole or you could easily 3 putt. Pace of play was very good 4hrs. 10 min.. Enjoy.
Nice and wide fairways.
Very nice course. My wife and I golfed with two very friendly Michigan gentleman . We had a very fast round with no one behind or in front of us and that was even with a frost delay start of a hr and a half. Fairways and greens in vg shape but so called rough was matted down and at times muddy to hit off of. Overall very nice course.
Great course.
Wonder course. Played back to back weekends and enjoy both. Greens are very true, pin placements challenging but loved it. Highly recommend this course. Will play there again soon.
Challenging course with mature trees, water and big greens
Course was in excellent shape -- greens were fast - fairways well manicured. Large greens were fast and true. Bunkers make for a challenging approach to the greens - A grade A course.
Very nice golfing experience
The greens are in very good shape. The course gives enough of a challenge to make it interesting. I like the course.
Good value and a pleasant challenge for the average golfer,
While not too challenging, the course presents an enjoyable test for the average golfer. Course conditions and the speed of play were good. With affordable green fees this represented a good value.
Good value for the $$$
I played Pebblebrook for the 1st time and would probably return, based on the great deal I received on GolfNow. I found the layout to be uninteresting and the rough (not overseeded) to be difficult, as the grass was sparse. Bunkers were mostly dirt, not sand. Fairways were very good and the greens were good not great. Another 2-3 weeks could yield some great greens. Some demanding par 4's, but overall the course is doable. Pace of play seemed slow, but finished in 4 hours. No marshal on the course. No beverage cart.
First time, will be back.
Great course, challenging but forgiving. A lot of enjoyment with the lush fairways and surperb greens. Not just flat and straight, it has some great dog legs and a few small hills and valleys. Nice water holes that can come into play with a mis hit. Will deffintely play this course again.
Excellent course to play.
Largest and best kept greens we have encountered this year for a non-private course -- Water is well placed to add to overall look of c ourse--not an impediment to play.. Course is conducive to quick pace of play--4 hours max. We will go back and back for more.
Excellent conditioned course
As a group we are 69-77 years old and have lost a lot of distance over the years. Playing from the forward tees worked out well for us on this course. It was still challenging but not out of reach. The greens (bermuda) were surprisingly quick and true. This was unexpected because we were playing during the season when many courses are undergoing overseeding with rye grasses.
The course has wide open fairways.
We played on a gorgeous clear day. The course had lots of play but moved along nicely.
