About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Hello, we booked a tee time for two a few days ago for yesterday. I was so relaxed, that at the time of booking i didn‘t look at the wheater forecast. i booked on web on the page of Teeoff. I paid the green fees all in advance. But yesterday it was raining very intensive. So i phoned and i asked if i can postpone my tee times to another day. the lady said i can only handle everything with the provider through whom i booked. i said i want no money back, i just ask if i can postpone my playing day. Nothing to do. So we drove 40 min to the course, checked in, took the golfcar, drove until the first tee, and without doing only one single golfshut, we resigned and turned back because rain was getting more intense. It seems to me that in such a case just asking for a new tee time shouldn’t be a problem for such a golf course. Anyway, taking care of a customer seems different to me. tomorrow we have another tee time. Maybe the club con manage to correct what happened?

Good course for beginners, good price, and is pretty open. Decent deal.
Great layout but I do not understand why the greens are so high
The layout is quite good with sufficiently long par 4's and par 5's. I played this a week before and the greens were very high. I was hoping that a week later, the greens would be mowed and rolled, but not the case. The greens are so high that a normal golfer cannot hammer a putt hard enough to get it to the hole without a full backswing.
Fair golf course
A good value for the price paid but too expensive at regular price for the quality of the course.
Layout is very good but greens looked like fairways
You can tell that this place used to be a really nice place. The layout is quite nice but it has maintenance issues. Tee boxes were rough and the greens were poor with various grass and weed types and sandy bare spots. They were so high that it was nearly impossible to hit a putt to the hole. If the greens were better maintained, I would play there again.
Greens need help. And pin placement flags
Course in ok shape. The greens need help. A variety of different grasses, several greens had large bad areas. Also pin flags giving front, middle or back would help.
