About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Last winter I found the west course excellent unfortunately the greens were terrible
Either covered with sand or crab grass
Staff is great but the course needs work
Really Bad Greens
The front nine was in fair condition. However the back nine greens consist of a few weeds and uneven bumpy DIRT! This course should be closed until it is renovated. The back nine is unplayable as it is.
Racoons and Iguanas
Been an avid golfer for 35 years. Orangebrook's greens are the worst I have ever played. Where there is grass on the green, it is fairway length or longer. The rest of the course including tee boxes is similar. Seeing the racoons and iguanas was the highlight.
Great practice warm up course
Great course to get your game going for the better courses. Staff is friendly and enjoyable only reason to go back. They need to get some staff members who know how to take care of a green. Plan on not putting or really bad greens.

18 holes in w
Have played the west course many times. Found the greens this time worst shape ever. Greens need to be done. Fairways were ok and tee boxes were in good shape. Thus is great course layout. Great value for the money.
Busy
Busy day , took a few minutes after our tee off to actually play. It did sort out and pace of play was fine, will be back when price is right thru golfnow .

Friendly course
The greens are not in mint condition, but the course has a nice layout and it is nice to play through. Staff is friendly. We like this course - been there many times over the years.

Depends on how much you pay
We enjoyed this course last year. Several greens have a lot of weeds and sand this year . Quite disappointing but we know they had terrible heat this summer. We’ll still give it a chance and hope it will perk up with a little TLC. We’ll go back if we get a discount.

Nice fairways bad greens
Loved the wildlife. Clubhouse is old, but plenty of swag at good prices. Great layout, uses most of your clubs. Some holes require lots dispersion and shot making. Greens were either burnt up or had some fungi going on. Friendly members and good fairways. Greens left me disappointed.
