About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Nice design on some holes. Conditions could be better.
Not bad for the price. Conditions need improvement.
Reliable
The course is on good property spread out and in improving condition. The Wests greens are better now than a few months ago. The staff is friendly and accommodating and if you need any supplies the Pro shop is stocked better than golf stores.
Course condition are better than the last time i played. The greens are in a better shape no large dry spot but still no ball washer. The worst is the condition of the restrooms. I have no word for.
Greens and Tee boxes are in terrible shape
This course was spectacular feb through July. High season has brought way too much traffic with only the west course being open. It’s a shame to see this place in such bad shape. 3 of the greens on the back nine are literally full of sand.
You get what you pay for.
Course is in good condition but greens are horrible.
The greens here are unputtable
The greens are full of crab grass, bare spots and overgrowth. They have not been cut in a long time and have not been rolled in forever.
I ended up putting the ball with speed at the hole and if it went in that was great but if it missed I picked it up, counted 2 and moved on
All that being said, the rest of the course was in good shape and a challenge to play
This used to be a great course and will be again when they fix the greens

Last winter I found the west course excellent unfortunately the greens were terrible

Staff is great but the course needs work
Really Bad Greens
The front nine was in fair condition. However the back nine greens consist of a few weeds and uneven bumpy DIRT! This course should be closed until it is renovated. The back nine is unplayable as it is.
Racoons and Iguanas
Been an avid golfer for 35 years. Orangebrook's greens are the worst I have ever played. Where there is grass on the green, it is fairway length or longer. The rest of the course including tee boxes is similar. Seeing the racoons and iguanas was the highlight.
