About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Beats work
Course set up nicely. Greens are slow, but in good shape.
No beverage cart.
All the water stations are NO MORE.
Bring water.
Have played Orangebrook for years. Always fun time.

Terrible greens
The fairways and tee boxes were in good shapes. The rough was pretty long but the real issue is that some of the greens were extremely patchy and almost unputtable. Very little places to get a drink on the course either so bring water for a hot day.

Clubhouse Bar Attendant is Horrible
The course, value, conditions and pace of play was great for a Friday Round.
Now let’s get to the problem, the bar attendant /waitress has an unbelievably bad attitude and ridiculously bad customer service skills. So bad that I had to get the GM involved who stated that she always acts in that unprofessional way. For the life of me, I don’t understand why she is still employed there. Her antics are not conducive to making a profit on the food and beverage side of the house for this club and this will eventually affect the bottom line of the club as a whole.
She needs to be fired immediately.

Great course for the price
This course is amazing for the price. For only about $35 you get a full 18 and a cart which is already a great deal. The course is also beautiful but could use some extra maintenance around the bunkers and some greens. But for its price it is a beautiful course and well worth it.

Slow pace
Very slow pace in first 9 and finished in almost 4 hours. There was absolutely no water in the course while you playing. No cart girl or such. Good course with good layout

Best condition in past two years
I was pleasantly surprised how much better the condition was on the course. The fairways were great and full, weeds were down, sand traps were nicely kept, greens are improving and can be better, but were much better than they were 6 months ago. Maintenance people were working on the course, which is nice to see and their work is noticeable.
