About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Fine for the general golfer
Some T-boxes need TLC. On the first nine , the greens have a lot of weeds but are still reasonably fast. The greens on the back nine are much better and faster . The fairways are reasonable. You will find rocks in most of the sand traps. Good pace of play and an enjoyable day. The starter was pleasant and friendly. I would book again with a deal on T-OFF.

The worst
The worst course we play since december. This is not a golf course if you are a regular golfer. Everything is bad. There is coral in thé sand trap, the greens you can not call that green. I’m not talking about the fact that it is completly noisy with the 95 just next to thé course. We did play the West but I dont think at all that the east could be better. Don’t spend your money over there.

Great improvements
Over the last two years the course conditions have being improving tremendously. There's now grass in the fairways, the greens for the most part are running smoothly, some greens still have patches of bad grass, most of the tee boxes are in good condition, no. Eight tee box on the east course is terrible. Most negative point is no drink cart on the course during the week. Overall I would recommend the course as a good value
