About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Played EAST COURSE. Not west
First time on course. Played west about 5 times. Enjoyed it very much. Got very slow at 10th. Guys were jumping holes. Not good. Could use ranger

Ok course, poorly supervised today.
Foursome with rental clubs, booze, no golf etiquette created a wait at every shot, 5 1/2 hour round and course damage.

Enjoyable course
Staff is great... enjoyable course.. used most clubs (I am high handicapper).. 3rd time I played. ONLY criticism is that there is no drinking water on the course. Would have been nice to know the first time I played. Will definitely return (in the area for 4 months)

Even though the eastcourse was closed and everybody had to play the Westcourse the pace was really good.

Needs work
Overall an interesting layout … but really needs work. They need to do some serious re-investment in the course. I played the East course last week and found it to be in much better shape and more enjoyable.
