West at Orangebrook Country Club

West is not good. Do not play this course, do yourself a favor and play the east. Holes are shorten, not real greens.

Make sure to call and make sure they are open. Went on a beautiful day and course was flooded. Upon entering I asked about my tee time. To which they implied can’t you read we have a course closed sign up. No I’m sorry but the course is closed today. No call or answer at pro shop before round then they have the balls to get mad at me. Place looks like a dump I wouldn’t come back if they paid me…your the welcome staff, how about being polite and welcoming! Thanks for nothing

We’re avid golfers visiting from out of town and had to rent clubs. Unfortunately, the rental sets were very basic (compared to other courses rental clubs), and it took nearly 20 minutes just to check them out and get assigned a cart. The staff was friendly but moved slowly.

The pace of play was extremely frustrating—it took us about an hour and a half to get through only four holes.

While the greens were in decent shape, the fairways and surrounding areas were poorly maintained. Several tee boxes were so overgrown that we had to carefully pick a spot just to avoid hitting out of tall grass.

We come to this area often, but sadly, we won’t be playing here again.

Played the East Course and was not too bad. The greens were slight shaggy but better than other courses around the area...4th round this trip and would gladly play again...Kudos to starter helpful & informative....

Course was in okay shape, I have played here once or twice a year for the last 5 years. Basicly, no change to course condition.

The rough is always thick and its very easy to lose your ball even with a nice shot that is just off the fairway. They seem to not cut the rough regularly and there are large clumps of grass that are great to make it difficult to find your ball. The traps and most of the fairways were is very good shape, the tee boxs are fine and the greens have always been below average, but firm and fast today.

Staff is friendly and pace of play can be hit or miss , but you can navigate around slow groups or replay holes as its rare to have multiple groups waiting on the group in front, so you can alway find a gap to keep your playing pace moving.

FYI: There was a few coolers with water on the course, most were empty by the time was tried to use them ( 12noon -1pm) .

Nice course, use driver in almost every hole, good layout friendly staff

You need more maintenance around the greens and the rough. It’s like a cow pasty of dead grass clippings all over the golf course.

Played here a few months ago and the greens were in bad shape. They are starting to come back now. Love both courses at Orangebrook but I hear they are closing them down soon. 18 on the west course went from a par 5 to a par 3 with no yardage markers to give you an idea how far the temp green is.

Course was in good condition. Some greens were just ok. The only bad point was the 18th hole on west was shortened and a temporary green due to construction of new Police Department building .
