West at Orangebrook Country Club

About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Depends on the price
We enjoy playing here. The course is in decent shape and the greens are relatively fast as we like them. The only downside is the price. Last year we could play here for 38$ with T-Off and had several T-times. This year , the first price that comes up is 62$. If your lucky and they’re not taken they can drop to +/- 44$. You don’t have as many T-time choices. It’s not worth 62$ for us. The washrooms at the clubhouse and on the course really need to be redone !!!
Great day for golf.
The west course was in pretty good shape since the last time I played there. Rough cut down and greens in good shape.
West Course is Great Value
For $30 I was expecting a barely playable course. However, the West Course was actually really nice. Greens were all in good shape. Fairways were nice. I can’t speak for the East side but the west side was really good value. Will definitely be coming back.
Good public course
Pretty good value and overall condition. Friendly staff. Slow kitchen. Nice course layout. Challenging.
Friendly staff
We always feel welcome at this course at Orangebrook!
