East at Orangebrook Country Club
About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

I find Orangebrook a friendly and accommodating course,
Love this course
They are working on the west but it is coming along Very nicely. Love the course worth it in my book. Greens play rough but still a challenge
Great course for the money
Orangebrook has two, 18's east and West . I've played both and can't say that I have preference.
It's an older course, formerly private that over time im sure had a hard time keeping up membership and was then sold to city or municipality. Both courses are very playable , with I belive, 5 tee boxes. While the course shows its age it generally plays well. The fairways are decent but the rough gets a little heavy in places. I found the greens to be in good condition expect 1 that looked like the grass was diseased or fertilizer burned. It was the only green not in good condition. I played on mothers day and the course was wide open I finished in 3 1/2 hours walking, and carrying my bag. However most times playing this course it's 5 hours at least as it packed,.I'm sure they move more rounds of golf through orangebrook than any other course. In the county. If you've got the time it's a great value. The course has a nice layout and you can still see the once forgotten grandeur that it did have. The structures are a little beat and show more wear than the course does itself.
Hope rebuild deal starts soon
Most greens cut way short and dieing, 50% tee boxes sandy, fairways 70% weeds but manicured to best feature of course
Orangebrook East
course is holding up against a lot of winter play and a 25 day drought
Worst course ever!!!!
I’ve played this course 8 years ago and I was anxious to get back to it, but to my dissapointement the owner have decided to just live on profit and not invest back in the course. Tee boxes are so bad that you have to teeoff on the side of it. Also greens have no grass what so ever and your putting on concrete. By far the WORST course I have ever played. Shame on you Orangebrook!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this course, you’re gonna waste your money.
Terrible conditions
Many frees are nor greens.. they are browns
will not return
Not good
The greens are very fast. But eh overall condition int good
April at Orangebrook
o k course gets a lot of play but fairways have good grass and the greens not perfect but playable
Carts
The carts are frequently defective and run out of power during game. Happened at least six times in the last few weeks.
6 hour round of golf
For 30 bucks to play 18 holes in the condition that it’s in is actually a pretty good deal. I can’t even lie, but if you wanna spend 5 to 6 hours playing a round of golf behind a bunch of kids and old people and foursomes who don’t play best ball or brand new people to Golf who take 15 practice swings just to shank , oh also walkers…. I’m actually glad this is happened to me the last three times coming because I am now going to level up and pay more to go to a better course.
greens on the east were in rough condition. The beverage cart person didnt seem to want to provide their serivce. I would think if they didnt want folks bringing outside beverages they should probably work on that.
Fair
It's not that expensive and you can see some garbage near the borders of the course and the greens were kinda yellow. The starter was kind of rude, but other than that we had a good time.
