East at Orangebrook Country Club
About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

great price decent course
except for a few greens being repaired most of the old course is playable traps need some tlc but over all the course stands a test to time
Course is conveniently located and price is right for the condition of the course, which is under construction due to adding parking lot and police station
Bad Greens
I've played at Orangebrook many times in the past and unfortunately I have to say the courses are in need of work. I played the East course and the greens are in the worst shape I've ever seen. Badly in need of repair. The ruff needs to be addressed also. Very easy to loose a ball with the grass so long. Both courses used to be in great shape so I don't know what happened.
3 stars but great for what you pay
If you're a golfer who doesn't mind playing a lower quality course to save some money (like myself) this course is a gem! For a course with two 18s that run around $30 per round it doesn't get better than this. Greens are a bit rough, but besides that the course is very fair for the price.
Need maintenance
Played at east. I have played at this course several times. This time I found the course in the worst condition ever. Fairways with no grass. Greens absolutely unacceptable. They were punched but still condition was terrible. Not playable. Greens changed location and GPS unable to work. We decided not to finish the 18 holes. I hope they put a better focus’s on maintenance.
Not maintained
Sand on the greens and tee boxes. The rough nor the fairways have been maintained. They must be getting rid of it soon.
Course should be closed
The course conditions were the worst I’ve ever seen. This course should be closed until they make repairs. Sad how just a couple months back they did a good job maintaining the greens
At its worse
I used to enjoy playing a round here as I thought it was a good value. However, the course is really falling apart. There is more dirt than grass on the greens, the fairways are extremely patchy, and 18 on the west is closed. Now everyone plays 18 to finish which is a way to build up a lot of traffic. I’ll be back when they redo the course.
Nightmare on elm street
Horrible , disgusting , worse part my dad of 74 years of age said to me are we playing in a dump .
Bathroom was a dagger for me .
Never again not even if it was freeeeeeee.
Nightmare on Elm Street
Brought my dad out to play he is 74 years old and for him to acknowledge and encountered this DISASTER was not only embarrassing but DISGUSTING!
They should pay people to come here to play instead of charging or displaying this type of golf course in any App or website .
This place should honestly close down.
I hope no one else comes here and waste there
Money.
Bathroom was just the end for me
