It's a very nice golf course and the staff is really friendly

Nice Layout, but course needs attention. Signature hole green was in very poor condition. Pace of play was slow, waiting on every hole. No bunker rakes in carts, and none on course. High country club pricing but not country club experience.

Course was in good condition. Played with one other golfer and was able to get around the course in two and a half hours relatively early in the morning.

I consider this my home course. Most of the greens need a little attention but, they place the holes perfectly.

The website has pictures of a beautiful course.....but these weren't images of the same course I played.

Hard fairways, dead grass, leaves everywhere, and dark green paint scattered everywhere, making the course look horrible.

There is a serious lack of maintenance on this course, and it's clear they try to cut corners.

This course has potential, but right now is far from reaching it.

Hillcrest is a well mainteined if not very good, acceptable price compared to others with similar conditions in the area

I was particularly impressed with the condition of the greens. The greens were relatively fast and in great condition. Overall, course conditions was very good.

My favorite public course in broward.. from Kevin in the pro shop to the starter Jimmy...staff and course are always a delight... 18th green needs some serious attention.. but other than that, great layout, challenging course, fast greens an pace of play is never an issue.. 4 of my most important features in a golf course, Hillcrest hits high in all those.. been playing that course since the old plantation golf club closed several years ago, and I still get excited every time I drive there..

Sunny day, strong winds... Hillcrest was a fun afternoon. The staff were super friendly. Greeted me effusively and warmly. The course is well maintained, although the greens were a bit dug up.

With relatively wide forgiving fairways, players in front of us kept up a good pace, rather than searching for lost balls.

I would definitely choose this course again on my return to the area.

I haven't played this course as often as I did when I lived closer to it. Yet I do enjoy returning for an occaissional round of golf. The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is one of the better maintained in the area. The course itself is not as challenging as some, but for me it is appreciated as I am a high handicap player. The 18th hole is still quite challenging and takes two well placed and executed shots in order to make par.

GOt a good deal from GolfNow which made this course more than worth the price. Well maintained, semi-difficult course with a nice finishing island green.

We have been playing this course for the past four years. Each year it has dipped in maintenance. It's tired which is unfortunate since it is a great layout. What once was a pristine private club seems to have hit tough times. It's unfortunate because we do enjoy the awesome staff and opportunity to play it with premier card. Hopefully they can get back on track.

Good golf course, 18th hole is fun., Actually very good field.

Booked with GolfNow for play a couple hours later. Nice size putting green right off of 1st Tee. Starter had us tee right on time. Tees , fairways and greens in excellent condition. Conditions for the day were pretty breezy for time of the year. A few challenging par 4's . Hole 18 is an island hole that often plays into the wind. Requires pure golf golf shot. no lucky hits here. Overall great value in South Florida.

This is one of the best courses I've played so far in the Fort Lauderdale area, been here for about two months now, and I play a new course every time (I play three times a week). Great club, with some beautiful holes. The 18th hole was a beauty (but bring som extra balls).

nice course, good value if you can get on for 30 - 40 bucks.
