Afternoon round
Teed off just after 2pm, and enjoyed a nicely paced round which evolved into wonderful temperate back 9 as the sun lowered and lit the San Gabriel range to display its beauty. What a backdrop. We finished just before dusk. Great time to play.

Long course in decent shape, fairways just ok, the greens were nice - fast as always and roll true. pace of play was excellent. Still a very, very nice public course in LA, one of the best.....some looong par 4's though so be warned. Only drawback was an overpriced grilled sausage - nowhere near worth the $10.......playing partner said the same after first bite of his too....

Worst customer service
This is by far the worst course I’ve ever been to. There were balls flying everywhere while we were playing. The staff was extremely unprofessional. They made it extremely difficult to pay for the cart and tee time.

This was an absolute mess. Our tee time was pushed nearly an hour. Because of this we couldn’t finish 14 holes. I would have never played a course I couldn’t finish, especially for the price. Not only were we waiting for nearly and hour for carts and to tee off, a group was added ahead of us on 10. Super disappointed. The course was nice but it’s not worth the frustration.
