Golf at Brookside
Playing by yourself gets lonely, but when the starter tells you that he paired you with someone else is more rewarding. We played and had a good golf day, the course was still wet from the rain and I had to do cart path only, my partner was walking,so he was able to walk everywhere The weather was good, and golf fun.
Golf at Brookside
Had a early tee time, I was paired with a single walker which I didn't mind. We played at a normal pace but soon ended where we had to wait about 4 mins. to tee off each hole after that. The rounds slow and my game off. But it was fun to just play the game.
Golf at brookside
I got paired with a couple of guys , they were fun to play with. We were golfing at a good pace, but the groups in front were a little slow, we had a group behind us that were golfing at our pace so I felt like we were going to stack up soon.So we got done and it was fun though.
Sunday slow play
Very slow on a Sunday morning.
No range on that day… pick up machine broken.
Expect a 5h+ round (I left after 15 holes and 4:20 on the course)
I realise now that I booked on #1 and staff or GN put me on #2… not fair
Busy but nice!
Very good greens. Lots of tight pathways off tees. But little risk of losing a ball. Nice track. Extremely busy but got done in 4 hrs.
Greens Punched
They must be going through winter maintenance/prepping for the city championships cause all the greens were punched, greens 1-6 were also Sanded that day on Koiner.
Punched Greens
The greens were punched when got there, and there was no disclosure that that was the condition. Other than that it was a great round.
Brookside Great Course
I had a great time on the course it was a great day the Pace of play was real good the staff were extremely friendly and had no issues at all love the layout had a blast
Tight course
While beautifully surrounded with great views and the Rose Bowl, the layout is tight and lacking terrain or design. There was a lot of debris from trees and little to no water in the design. Very flat fairways with greens so steep with odd pin placements that send your ball back to your putter at twice the speed you delivered it. I’m glad I played there, but I would t repeat. Locals indicated very good member pricing and benefits.
Lots of dirt, tire marks, muddy swamps.
I get they need to make accommodations for Rose Bowl events, but street clear of this place. Tire marks several feet from the greens, parking spots on the fairways, a good 25 percent of the course is pure dirt, or swampy/muddy. All this for 70 bucks. I just got lucky and got a giftcard for the round. I would suggest Eaton Canyon. It's in much better condition.
challenging as this is their big boy coarse.
Rose Bowl parking on fairways, time of year, and cool temperatures made for tight lies. A little muddy in places. Greens were quick and in good condition. Tee off was at 1pm so only got 15 in. Overall a great time.
Golf Course in Bad Condition
For the price they charge, this course is definitely not worthy. Course is dry, hard and lots of bare grounds on the fairway. No ball washers by the tees. Ground crew don’t stop while your about to tee off or hit the ball. Pro shop staff frowns if using Golf Now and you can’t check in until 10 minutes before tee time. If they don’t like Golf Now why are they still listening on Golf NOW? Anyway this course is not good for anyone.
Worst course I’ve played
Golf course is in pretty bad condition; dry and hard ground. Heavily played. Not worth the price paid. Staff prefer that we don’t use Golf Now so why would they list themselves if they don’t want players to use Golf Now.
