Championship Course at Crosswinds Golf Club

Super fun course. Fairways were lush. Greens were soft. Practice area was a little rough. Two groups let me play through without having to ask. Friendly staff.

Played a round here with my wife who is an infrequent player.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Course is very short, as expected being par 3’s, but good for honing short iron play and rewarding for those who may struggle on longer holes.

Course was in great condition and the greens were smooth and very fast.

We’ve played on larger courses since arriving in USA some of which would be proud to have greens as good as these.

Cart path only but the course was dry. Otherwise great place to play.

Greens were very fast. Great practice facility and set up. Highly recommend.

Course was aireated last week and haven’t completed recovered yet. Fairways good and greens still bumpy. Should be real good next week.

Greens had recently been punched so they were bumpy and slow. The layout is challenging and interesting.

Crosswinds is in great shape, greens and fairways were in good. Course is a good challenge for anyone's game!! Love this course, you will too!

Greens are usually great, but a little rough there time.

There are many courses in the area that cost much more and are not in as good condition. It's a little bit of a drive for me but we'll worth it. Love this coarse!

I thought this course was good - not great. Greens were not challenging and small, but in decent shape. Fairways and rough were in good shape. Course layout is nice - hard to lose a ball. I played the tips and some tee boxes were harder to access. Overall its a good course for the average golfer.

The course was in great condition and they are continuing working on improving. I saw all kinds of workers that were busy improving the course! They are putting up new lights to be able to work on your game at night. I love this course as it gets better and better! Keep it up as it is challenging and well kept! I also watching those jets taking off outstanding!

this is becoming a favorite course. the layout is interesting and challenging. being adjacent to the Savannah airport and air national guard station adds to the entertainment. the practice area is better than most public courses. the staff is engaging. ive never seen a course Ranger but players are courteous and generally keep things moving. Beverage coolers along the course are appreciated.

Was going to reserve a tee time for tomorrow and the pricing for 18 is anywhere from 65-90$ within a few minutes of each other, what gives?

This is one of the nicer courses in the area right now for a muni type course so you think it would be a set rate across the board which brings me to why is it so much more to play these muni type courses in Savannah as opposed to other courses in city’s.

Played Disneys Magnolia course last fall, great course, five star and it was 60$ a person, the LPGA course in Daytona last year was 70$ a round and that course is state of the art with full amenity’s. But you look at the muni type courses in those areas and they’re all 30-40$. So what makes muni courses so much better they charge the rates they do here? ( not singling out just crosswinds it’s all those types of courses here, southbridge which is in terrible shape, Bacon is also horrendous)

My wife and I are at the point where we will start driving and making a weekend out of playing much nicer courses for the same price or less just a few hours away. Not trying to sound like I’m some broke dude but in todays economy and our love for the game we would much rather play beautiful pristine courses then play on courses with planes buzzing us (crosswinds), moon greens and cabbage patch fairways(southbridge) and dirt fairways and 5” rough (Bacon).
