About
Crossroads Golf Club offers a total of 27 holes, which includes an 18-hole championship course and a nine-hole par-3 course. The Championship Course has an open, parkland layout where you don't have to worry about hitting any homes. The layout has five par 3s and five par 5s, designed to appeal to players of all skill levels. The greens play fairly fast and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Water has a prominent presence on the golf course, coming into play on a majority of the holes. One of the most memorable water holes is the par-5 12th, which has a lake lining the entire right side. There are several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for as well. The Par-3 Course at Crossroads is worth checking out too, there's plenty of water and sand.

Course conditions
Fairways were excellent. Greens were recently sanded and were still in great shape. Looking forward to my next round there.

Bad greens, terrible tee boxes, worse patrons
Today was cart path only after a storm yesterday but this review will NOT be a reflection of that, weather isn’t something staff can control …with that being said pace of play, booking of tee times and other course conditions are something that can be controlled. The greens were recently sanded and the staff had no mention of it on the site or in the clubhouse. Cups didn’t seem have been cut/changed in the last week. Given the price to play it definitely attracts some less desirable patrons, (ie the ones who think it’s okay to take wedge/tee shots off the green and leave divots in greens and don’t know course etiquette or rules) which leads me to my final point, 6 hrs pace of play is ridiculous. The clubhouse has to do better at staggering tee times/groups. Starting groups on the front/back to avoid a clog on the course. At one point there were 5 groups on one hole. (1 on the green, 2 in the fairway and 2 groups on the tee box waiting for those of you trying to figure this one out) so if you are looking to play a course at normal pace of play, this is not the one for you.

Better and Better
I would rate a 5 if halfway was open or cart food. Tee to green excellent shape. Looks like they just put some sulfate down so this course will be super green in a week or two. No fake painting. Superintendent and staff are doing a great job.

Great course!
The course was great! The time I went was perfect as I felt like the only one on the course so I got to really practice my game. The people we friendly and informative. I would play this course again if I come back to Savannah for work.

One of the best courses near and around Savannah.
The course is in fabulous condition. Hard to find any better. Especially in the hot summer months. Many courses are in survival mode.
The new golf carts with gps ect… are very nice. You know exactly where you are distance wise and course challenges at all times.
The greens are a very nice layout and pace.
The price for the value is unmatched anywhere, including Hilton Head.

Great improvement trend
The course is in the best condition that it has been in many years, especially the green complexes. Fairways have improved as well. The course has benefitted greatly from significant removal of overgrown trees. New GPS carts are in service - and someone went HOG WILD with the restricted zones to the point of ridiculousness. Be prepared to walk a LOT more now. That needs to be fixed. They also need to drastically improve the "restaurant" and bar.

Cartpath only
Hard to judge because it was cart path only. Course was a muddy mess. No roll and balls plugging in the fairway. Will play it again sometime in the future when conditions are better.

Nice greens
Crosswinds is in very good shape. The greens are rolling good. The tees are in good shape.
The sand traps have been reconditioned and are pretty consistent. A few have too much clay mixed in with the sand, but aren’t that bad.
Overall they are taking good care of this course and it has a fun layout.
