Tooth 9-hole Course at Orange County National
About
The Tooth Course is a popular nine-hole executive course at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility also features two 18-hole regulation courses. The Tooth Course mimics the shape and challenges of its sister courses but on a smaller scale, making it an ideal place for golfers to sharpen their game. The course is especially useful for getting practice with irons. The course offers strategically placed bunkers, a lake that comes into play on four holes, and subtle elevation changes. Orange County National welcomes younger players to play the Tooth, allowing them to play free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

My fav 9 hole
Always enjoyable playing here. Great staff and course.
First time at The Tooth
I was excited to play The Tooth course at OCN, perfect fall weather and golf at a great facility. Unfortunately either because of our early tee time or perhaps standard maintenance scheduling we ended up playing before the course had been set up. This wouldn’t have been a problem had the maintenance staff not interrupted our 9 holes and failed to replace the pins after mowing some of the greens. The greens were in fair condition similar to other courses of the same caliber in the area, they did have signs of turf disease and lots of goose grass on some greens but most rolled quick and smooth. Fairways were firm and playable despite recent rain. I hope the best for the tooth course, it’s compact links style has nice views and creates interesting shot opportunities. It could be one of the best short courses in central Florida if the conditions are brought up to the level of OCN’s other 18 hole courses.
Great Course but moderate "amenities"
We love coming to this course. It is perfect for moderate players such as myself. Though, every-time we come we are always given a "dead" cart. Unfortunately we don't find this out until about the 2nd hole and cannot drive back to replace. Today specifically we were given one that did not work well at all. We were told to turn it off and pump the gas. It worked for a few minutes but kept running into the issue. The Staff is friendly as ever, but it still causes us the inconvenience of not making it up hills, and barley making it to the next hole.
Forward tea boxes were in disrepair. Greens were sanded and fairways were just Fertilized. However price was very inexpensive still had a great time
Short & Long Fairways
I like the fact that it’s not just an average executive golf course. It has a couple of longer par 4 fairways. Nice place to unwind!
Great course! Great value! Friendly staff!
Thoroughly enjoyed the day at the Tooth. Simple, short, but well kept course.
golf day
first class operation beautiful course very well-maintained friendly staff
Great short course!
Took my sister to her first round of golf at this course today. Absolutely beautiful course with a fun layout! Pretty hilly which is rare to see in Orlando, so that was a pleasant surprise. This course is great for beginners and more advanced players alike! The course is very well maintained and fun to play a quick 9 on. Greens were very smooth and fairways in great shape. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Fantastic quick 9!
Had a wonderful time here! Only real complaint was that there wasn’t very much help with getting started. As someone who had never been to this course before very little information was given about the course (never even received a score card) but I had a wonderful time once I did get started!
Enjoyed a good walk at the Tooth except for the “Elite” golfers that thought they owned the course. Only thing the future pros lacked was metal spikes and a handicap flag on their cart.
Great for all around practice
Awesome course to develop skills. It's got 7 par 3's and 2 par 4's. If you think it's beneath you, go and par it, make very green in regulation, drive the short par 4's. Either way you will enjoy this great course.
A perfect golf outing
Mark was great at check in. Very friendly and accommodating. Course was in great shape and challenging. Perfect place for a tune up. Never rushed.. Beautiful wildlife and a steady breeze.. Good for mind, body and soul. Thank you!
Carts on a walking course?
When I first started playing this course it was walking only — it’s called Tooth 9 Hole Walking Course on their own website — now it’s full of carts pushing the walkers. I enjoy playing it for practice but the amount of carts on a walking course is ridiculous.
