Tooth 9-hole Course at Orange County National
About
The Tooth Course is a popular nine-hole executive course at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility also features two 18-hole regulation courses. The Tooth Course mimics the shape and challenges of its sister courses but on a smaller scale, making it an ideal place for golfers to sharpen their game. The course is especially useful for getting practice with irons. The course offers strategically placed bunkers, a lake that comes into play on four holes, and subtle elevation changes. Orange County National welcomes younger players to play the Tooth, allowing them to play free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Great little test!
Great test. Water holes a little tough for beginners!
“Dad did you see the size of the driving range?”
Thankfully for me, my son is a golfing junky. So when we venture to Florida during his week off from school, we have great anticipation to get in some time on a course. The Tooth at Orange County National is a parent/child dream come true. All the other courses we investigated wanted some pretty obscene amount of money for a 2some only playing 9. Being that I had my little girl tagging along, that was going to be the right amount of playing time, she gets bored rather quickly. A lot of Par 3s with a couple par 4s mixed in, the longest being the 9th, was just what we needed after not playing on Long Island since early November since it got real cold, real quick. The greens rolled true and the Bermuda was holding its color and fullness quite nicely. He was very impressed with the driving range, it is advertised as the largest in the country.
So if you are in the Orlando area and are blessed with a 14-year old junkie like I am, skip the Disney courses and head over to Orange County National. Truly a “family” course since they had no problem with my 11-year old daughter skipping around and “playing caddy” and because my son was 14 he was able to play for free.
rainy
The course was in great shape! We started out with a little rain; then it came down hard. IT slow down and we went back and a little later it stop altogether.. We had a good day with a little rain.
Great Practice Course
First time playing this short course. Great practice facility coupled with a 9 holes walking course makes it for a great way to work on your short game, putting game, and cardio. The course is in excellent condition both the fairways and greens. Never a dull moment as you never get a leveled lie and will hit over water in three of the nine holes. Longest hole is about 300 yards (blue tee). Pace of play can be very slow, specially if you play behind a family outing with kids learning the game. Overall, will come back to work on my short game.
good practice day
My wife and I play at the Tooth to work on on shot game. It is in great shape! You have many diffident lies to practice from. Great Day had by all!!!
Booked on GolfNow.com for early tee time. Quick play and because of early tee time, very little activity on the course.
practice
We found it a great place to work on your game. The practice facilities where better than most. Wife had a good time; what more can you ask!!!!

Walking course, best bang for your buck and cardio.
Play at Two Times A Week I LOVE IT
The Tooth is excellent. It offers me golf and exercise that is why I play two times a week. I plan to play again on Friday. I love playing alone so I can pace myself and not delay play for players behind me. I could not stay out of the sand traps today, Wednesday. Better on Friday!.
