Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Great views!!! Photo submitted by SHASHI60 on 01/18/2015
I will never go back
We were 30 minutes late for our tee time as we were standing at the cart shack for 40 minutes waiting for a cart. We had to travel at least a mile to get to the number 1 tee box of the executive course. The staff did not tell us the code to the restroom and only the reservation number picked up the phone and they didn’t know it. There was no water available at the clubhouse (or on the course for that matter) without standing in a line of five people to wait for the man collecting money in the pro shop to give us water. No cart person, no food to be eaten at the clubhouse. The greens were ridiculously slow. The course fairways were weeds and grass . Save your money. Go elsewhere.
Not enough carts=long wait times
Waited 45 minutes ( past T time) to get a golf cart. Course was also backed up. Staff in clubhouse were not friendly at all. Powerades were $4 each. Overall we had a very poor experience and won’t go back.
Great executive course
One of the better executive courses in the area. A must play for sure. Not sure why play was very slow though. Usually not this way, always 3 hiurs or less. Thus time beyond 3 plus hours. They could use a ranger.
Drove around for 20+minutes trying to find North course. Pro shop locked, no scorecards, hole markers no info, felt like a second rate citizen.. Won't go back, spend a little more and go elsewhere
Good Challenge
Many players on both courses created a lack of golf carts....started our round 30 minutes later than stated tee time...enormous amount of sand traps made for difficult first shots for old guys like me...final hole was worth everything....would definitely play the course again
The Ridge course is a distance from the clubhouse there is a pro shop there but it was closed. Restrooms were not open for repair. Course layout is set up niceley fairways sparse and weedy. However it is an executive course with 3 par 4s. Greens could use some water .It is very picturesque.
golf now get it together
Due to the fact that the golf now tee time app doesn't block out tee times when there is a member outing the experience was horrible. When we arrived for our tee time there were 15 to 20 carts waiting on the first tee due to a member scramble. The folks in the clubhouse were very kind and understanding but there was nothing they could do about it. So I say again GOLFNOW get it together and do a better job with your booking app.
They change the concept fiu yrs ago they used to have club house on sit know you have to drive one mile to the corse, today they had a tournament, and they were one hr late, we had to wait for all the players in the tournament to play first-hand, no to nice
Nice Executive Course
This was an overall good day of golf. Nice driving range, although small area. Putting and sand trap practice areas also available. Nice course layout. All holes are played between homes on both sides of the fairway. Tee boxes and greens were in good condition. Par 4 fairways could use some work. This is not a walking course, too far between holes. Major modifications being done to the pro shop. Signage for first timers is a bit misleading upon arrival, but we found the clubhouse without too much trouble. Finding the 18th tee was a bit of a challenge. The sign leaving 17th green indicates the direction of the "Next Hole", but signs are lacking after that and we missed the small sign that said "Next Hole" after driving around the corner. There needs to be something that is larger and that says "18th Tee". Overall, this will be a nice place when construction finished. I look forward to playing the championship course.
Our go-to executive course
We are high handicap senior snowbirds. We have played the Exec course several times in January and February. We like the terrain - it’s not a pancake flat FL course. There’s water on only one hole. The greens are slow. We usually can finish in less than 3 hours. It’s a good place to work on your short game.
We have also played the long course twice and like it, too. It’s in good shape and playable for us.
We recommend both courses and will return next Winter.
Really fun short course
Price is great compared to rest of Orlando. Fairways are rough but greens and bunkers are excellent. Tons of elevation. Great short course. Highly recommended
nice executive course
nice course but had to wait 15 minutes past my reservation for a power cart because of course over booking
Great 18 hole executive length course!
This course is very scenic even though it winds through a golfing community. It has several elevation changes which is very different than most Florida courses. Course in in great condition with well-maintained greens. Great buy for less than $50.
