About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Wrong Course
Although I selected the Kings course on line and received a confirmation as such, my reservation could not be found when I arrived. I was rudely told that I had a tee time at the Executive course to which I stated was not the case and showed my confirmation. Again, I was rudely told that my tee time was at the Executive course and there was nothing they could do. When I asked about squeezing us in the clerk said no that I had made my reservation at the wrong course. I said I didn’t make the reservation incorrectly and that the website was incorrect. The clerk said that wasn’t their problem. Eventually Paul stepped in and apologized and took my information to make it right.

Just OK
Very pretty course from a location standpoint. Lots of elevation change. Greens were very soft and green, but the coverage wasn’t great and they were a little long so it made putting an interesting ordeal. For a hot deal it isn’t bad, but I don’t think I’d appreciate paying more than $25 for it. The clubhouse by the course is closed and it looks like they definitely neglect this course in relation to the main one. I think they even painted a few of the fairways green so I don’t think they water anything but the greens. 😝 But plenty of pretty views to make it not the worst course I have ever played. That said, I prolly won’t be back unless conditions improve.

Great condition for a practice round
I love playing this par 57 course. I’ve played it a few times in the past. I was a little worried to book a tee time after seeing some of the recent reviews. Course is in great condition for a par 3 course. Every green rolled pretty true. Most of the tee boxes were good. The 3 holes that had fairways were good. Rough wasn’t too long. Sand traps were good and easy to hit out of. I swear some people come here thinking it’s gonna be the PGA or something. It’s a $30 course in an old people neighborhood. Have your expectations set correctly and you’ll love it. Definitely worth the $30-$40 on a weekend to play. I’ll be back! Best short course in central Florida

Course was player friendly, but still had its challenges. Most challenging thing was the greens. And almost every hole was in a tough spot, almost like in a professional tournament.

Surprising
Long drive in the cart to and from course. No monitoring of tee times and movement on the course. Fairways, rough and greens were patchy. Course layout is very interesting and challenging. Who spent this much money on cart paths on an executive course. No rakes in bunkers. Let them know Covid is over and no one has ever gotten Covid from a rake handle to my knowledge. 1/3 over priced. Carts are very lively. A plus.

Disappointed
On vacation - we normally play this course multiple times. This year, greens are in bad shape. Won’t be back!

Some greens TLC
Kings Ridge Executive course is a challenging course with some very good par 3 holes and 3 par 4 holes that are as very challenging. My only complaint is that some of the greens are in not in suitable condition for good putting. The course is fun to play. I would recommend to give it a try. It is not your average Executive golf course.
