Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Greens
The greens are in very good shape, the ruffs not so much.
Incredibly Fun Course
This course gets a high rating from me because it was suitably challenging for me (intermediate player that is better with irons than driver) and yet attainable for my wife who is a beginner.
Plenty of options to take a challenging route of the back tees, fun elevation changes and not too much water (the bane of my wife's existance).
My only complaint is it feels like you are on a treasure hunt trying to get from the clubhouse to the 1st tee on the ridge course, leave yourself 5 minutes to get from the clubhouse to the driving range and at least 10 minutes to take your cart from the range to the 1st tee.
Every time we play up there we think why are we playing here the course is not any better than many other executive courses and it’s a lot more expensive and it doesn’t seem like anyone around there really cares if we play or not.
Great Course for Beginner/Intermediate
This is a great course for a beginner to intermediate that wants some challenging iron work without digging out the driver too often.
My wife, a beginer, loved the course in spite of some of it being pretty challenging for her, but they have Jr. tees she could use and she started on those, then moved back a set to start hitting longer clubs.
The greens were pretty nice and she putted very well.
As an intermediate having a very good day with my irons it was great to work on dropping balls onto the green.
This would NOT be a fun course to walk. It is a fun, long, winding path through a well kept neighborhood.
Always such a beautiful and tough course!
The ridge course is absolutely stunning! I love the elevation changes on some of the holes where you can barely see the green is so far downhill pretty much off a cliff but makes it so much fun! Probably my favorite Par 3 course with a few par 4s as well so you can break out the driver as well!
Executive Course
long drive to get from clubhouse to executive course but worth it. Excellent to play a short course for 1st golf outing on vacation. Clubhouse was not open at executive course . Overall was a great time.
we did not finish the round . there was a group of 6 playing ahead of us. called the pro shop and spoke with a women ,could not get through to the pro shop.it was so backed up and slow we decided not to finish the round , very disappointing to say the least
