Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course
About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Inconsiderate old people
We had a 11:32 tee time. There was a very senior league playing that would not let us (2) tee off at our tee time. Said they were a league and they didn’t care what tee time we had. The course manager told them to let us tee off but they did their own thing like they own the place, so we had to wait for 12 players to tee off in front of us. If the course is going to schedule tee times before this league gets over, there needs to be a ranger at the #1 tee box to let them know they don’t own the place. It’s not our fault they are slow. If they would had let us go ahead and hit they would’ve ever seen us again. Poor planning.
Dry fairways, good greens, no rest rooms
I was one of only a few playing at 1:00 pm. on an April Saturday. It took about 20 minutes to get to the course from the clubhouse by golf card with a bit of help from people in the area. It is through a residential area.
Houses line all fairways. The fairways are fairly wide and houses and yards seldom come into play.
A problem that I had and one of the reasons for the 3 stars was that unless you are a member with a key, there are no restroom facilities at all. It would be a 20 minute trip back to the main clubhouse.
This is a nice course to practice your chipping. I primarily used my edges 7, 8, and 9 irons. Fairways though were hard and dry.
Great conditions, beautiful weather!
Visually intimidating course from the tee boxes. Tons of bunkers. Plays easier than it looks, if you know your carry distances. Greens were putting smooth and true.
Senior unfriendly
I made separate tee times. Me and my brother have disability’s. They had plenty of golf carts and stated it made no difference course rules.
They had no understanding and cold have cared less. This is not course edict.
Fast
We got to play with no one in front of us, and my wife & I played the course in 2 hours & 10 minutes. Loved it.
Executive Course
I am a just above beginner golf player. I love playing the Executive Course at King’s Ridge. It’s short enough that I don’t feel overwhelmed and extremely well kept. The staff is always extremely friendly, especially the young man who works in the clubhouse Brock. The cost is well worth the $$.
Kings Ridge
We checked in at the clubhouse and paid the gentleman wasn’t very friendly and could have directed us to the clubhouse at the executive course. Had to drive the golf cart there and then back would have been more convenient to get the cart at the closest clubhouse. 2 guys in front of us were very slow and could have used better golf etiquette made it frustrating. We felt the course was convoluted like driving through residents backyards
Huge improvement
First time back at the course for a couple of months and what a great change. Tee boxes Newley seeded and excellent condition. Greens excellent condition. Really really enjoyable round
Good course to practice your short game.
We played the Ridge which is good for practising your irons. Greens were in very good condition. The fairways were rough and sparse with descent grass making it hard to chip.
