Kings Ridge Golf Club - Ridge Course

About
The Ridge Course at Kings Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole executive course in Clermont. The golf course was designed by Ron Garl and opened in 2002.
The golf course's panoramic views of the surrounding hills and downtown Orlando add enjoyment to the challenge of the water hazards, precise landing areas, well protected multi-tiered greens, pot bunkers, grassy hollows and deep Bahia grass roughs.

Great views!!! Photo submitted by SHASHI60 on 01/18/2015
Par 3 and 4 course
Course is good for someone who wants to work on par 3s, irons, their swing, and course management. The course on the other hand is rough . I wouldn't pay make then $20.00 again to play here . Tee boxes are weeds and not trimmed, the greens are patchy and weeds growing all over so putting is a joke. Away from the main club hosue so no amenities, water, etc.
Rough shape
Not sure what’s going on here but this course is in rough shape. Can’t recommend at this time to play here and I typically love playing the executive course. Needs a lot of TLC!
Friendly and cute little course
This was a quick easy little course with lots of par threes and fours. The clubhouse staff was very friendly. Carts were clean course was clean. I liked it. didn’t have a cart girl but in the afternoon in the summer, I can’t blame it for being not crowded. I would recommend and I would play again.
Great value.
My son and I are just learning how to play golf. This course it great as it is a laid back, easy paced place to learn. Beautiful scenery with easy navigation. Staff is awesome. Answered some questions quickly and with expertise.
Poor Value for the money
9 holes were closed for aeration and sanding so front 9 had to be played twice. On turn, later arrivals were sent out causing a delay in completing the round.
Course should inform Golfpass so customers can make an informed decision on whether to book. Disappointed.
Favorite course!
This is my favorite course to play. It’s usually in great condition but the day I played the greens were dry. I am definitely coming back though and hopefully the greens will be better.
Nice Executive Course
Nice executive course. Greens were firm and true. Fairways were dry and hard but playable. Hardpan around the greens made pitching and chipping difficult at times.
For the price I would recommend this course.
Inconsistent Conditions
For the cost, there is very little value here. The conditions are very inconsistent from hole to hole. Greens have weeds that grow through them. There were several times I felt like I needed an atv rather than a golf cart to get to my ball… in the fairway. Tee boxes need to be rotated more frequently as it was hard to take a stance without standing in many divots.
Overall I would recommend but be prepared to expect a course that is not up to standard. Spend your dollars on the Kings Course
Terrible course
This is one of the worst courses I have ever played. Terrible condition from tee to green.
Truly awful, don't waste your money
